Guesthouse holiday rentals in Monterey Bay

This stay was exactly what my daughter and I needed for our girls trip. The unit was cute, comfortable and had a great view off the rear deck. It's a 7 minute drive to the beach, so you could totally walk there, but you'd get so distracted by the cute town center with the nice shops and restaurants on your way. Faris was a great host, checking in via the app to make sure everything was to our liking. We would absolutely stay here again of we take another trip up to the area!

Sarah's place was great, and we truly enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and cozy, making it a very comfortable base for our trip. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of snacks in the kitchen – it was a lovely welcome! Parking was a breeze; we found easy street parking, and Sarah even provided a parking pass, which was essential for summer street parking. The location was perfect for us as we were able to walk to the beach, various restaurants, and downtown. We highly recommend Sarah's place and would definitely love to come back on our next visit!

Great little place which was pristine on arrival. Philip was very responsive both before and during the stay. The lodge was very private and great on site parking. Lovely little garden area which was totally private. Slight distance from Main Street in Carmel but once we worked it out was a 20-25 walk downhill. We did get an über back when it was dark but could have walked it up the hill. A great place to stay and was cheaper than Carmel hotels x

We had a lovely visit in Santa Cruz. We were in town for an event at UCSC and this place worked great for our needs. Erin was lovely and the Airbnb was cute and as described.

A great bolt hole, close to Downtown Santa Cuz. It felt like a little oasis of calm, yet close to the restaurants and beaches of the area. So lucky to have stayed in such a wonderful spot and would highly recommend for couples coming to this part of California.

Loved the peaceful tranquility of this spot on a beautiful and quiet street. The location is still very close to tons of restaurants in Los Gatos and Campbell. The hosts were kind and helpful. I loved the bed and slept like a baby thanks to the serene neighborhood. Highly recommended!

This place is absolutely incredible! It’s located in the mountains but not too far from town, it feels so peaceful when you are at the property and especially at Louie’s lookout. We stayed there for a week for our honeymoon, it’s within driving distance to so many special spots. Chris was awesome as well.

I cannot say enough nice things about Kim and her Queendom. The Airbnb grounds are like the Garden of Eden, nestled near the Moss Landing Harbor. From Harley the tortoise to overflowing succulents, the grounds were so peaceful and beautiful. The cottage included a cute outdoor space with a picnic table and hammock. The room, bathroom, and kitchen supplies were all neat and tidy with thoughtful touches. The bed was incredibly comfortable. However, most importantly, Kim was the hostess with the mostest and I absolutely recommend you eat at the Haute Enchilada. The food was divine. Cannot wait to return for all my Monterey Bay Adventures.

This was one of the most beautiful airbnbs we’ve stayed in! The house is gorgeous and the property is so cool - our kids loved all of the animals. Laurel is so communicative and helpful. We truly had the best time!

Yao was a perfect host. She was always responsive to my inquires and was very accommodating when I asked for an earlier check in. Yao Airbnb was very clean, in a quite neighborhood and just a short drive to Kaiser Santa Clara where I had an early morning appointment.

Taylor’s place is great. Extremely peaceful and quiet. The place is spotless and the garden is stunning! Would highly recommend

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time on the deck above the creek. Surrounded by beauty and the sounds of the creek created a sweet spot! The lighting was an excellent touch. The accommodations had everything that you need and the bed was extremely comfortable! We would stay again!!!

What a gem of a place, and Diane was one of the most welcoming hosts I've ever stayed with. She was responsive and helpful, gave us many local recommendations for restaurants and activities, and made every effort to make sure we were happy and comfortable. This is now my new favorite place to stay and will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dipti's place! She and her husband are both very friendly and were helpful with a request we had when checking in. The unit was very clean, comfortable, spacious for 2 people and enjoyable to be in. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. Would definitely stay here again if available.

Greg and Melinda were the perfect hosts. They were responsive, friendly and accommodating. We had a family of 4 with young children, staying long term during home renovations. The place had pretty much all the needed amenities, plus the fresh ground coffee, home baked cookies (Melinda's unique touch seemed to elevate a very simple recipe) and homegrown honey were delicious! The neighborhood is very quiet and safe, conveniently located close to major roads and lots of shopping and restaurants but without the noise that usually accompanies it.

We enjoyed our stay with Jasmine! She was a very friendly host and helped us out with whatever we needed. The petting zoo she has was one our highlights there! Would recommend a stay!

Our stay here was great! Kitchen had everything we needed and all the appliances worked perfectly. Bathroom shower has ample hot water. The bed was unique in that it was a bit of a loft in a cozy nook. Very comfy and lots of space in the room. There was a small deck with a table and chairs. Perfect place for coffee overlooking a pretty wooded area. There were many walking traiks, state parks and beaches within a 10 mile radius. Grocery stores and restaurants were also nearby. Would definitely stay here again when we're in the area.

Our stay was great. Just the two of us. Great location. Easy to walk to coffee and breakfast places in the morning and dinner at night too if you’d like. Very clean.
