Holiday houses in Monte Bagnolo I

We used Roberta’s place to explore the beautiful hill-top villages of Umbria & it was great to have such a comfortable apartment to come back to every day. Although you do need a car to maximise your trip, we did walk to the local winery & also caught the bus for a day trip to Perugia. The swimming pool was fantastic & we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. Roberta is a friendly & communicative host, yet very much respected our privacy as well.

We loved everything in this house, a beautiful Umbrian country house that feels like home away from home and where you just want to stay! From the beautiful view to the quality of bedding, rooms, plenty of exquisite details such as scented soaps from the area, tons of bath and hand towels in the bathrooms to the so many corners outside where you can either be together or find your own place to read, everything was perfect! A great pool as well that sadly we could not try because of bad weather in may (lots of rain), olive trees in the garden, plenty of plants and 2 beautiful, laid back house cats. The owner Flavio also went as far as ordering a birthday cake for my daughter and insisted that this was his gift, together with a bottle of bubbly. Caroline was always reactive and helped us to sort out trains , so all in all very friendly hosts. 5 stars! The only downside is the road to go to the house, you need a good car as the last part of the road is a steep climb!

Our stay at La Casa dell Abate was truly wonderful and memorable and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys beauty and comfort off the beaten path. From the moment we arrived, Allesio was welcoming, friendly, showed us around the home and offered tips on what to do. He will also offer you the opportunity for a pasta class or gourmet dinner which is prepared by their friend Francesco, in the private garden/outdoor kitchen. We really enjoyed this experience. Their home is beautifully decorated yet maintains the charm of the 16th century in which the village was built. We slept great in the peaceful surroundings and the comfortable beds with nice linens. One of our best Airbnb experiences! Thank you Allesio.

Massimo was charming, picked us up from the station and took us to the house. The house is very cute, surrounded by vegetation, in a quiet and family area. The host also left us a full breakfast. There is a supermarket next door that is very accessible. We would repeat. The only thing is that you have to arrive by bus and the last one is at 8:30 pm approximately, but it is barely 15 minutes by bus to the center. Very good experience, thank you!!

Place was stunning, and lovely! We valued privacy, uniqueness, views from villa. No wonder everyone wants to buy it afterwards:)! Fabiola was so friendly and helpful we enjoyed everything!

Great apartment in the countryside near Perugia, equipped with all the comforts. Comfortable bed, clean rooms, responsive and collaborative host. Tactical location for visiting the various beautiful Umbre cities. 100% recommended

Simply put - WOW! The villa was fabulous. The grounds were beautiful. Everyone loved it. I can’t praise the hosts enough. They greeted us when we arrived and showed us around the property. Laura is the kind of host people hope to meet when they rent with Airbnb. She brought us wood when we wanted a fire. She gave us suggestions about where to eat and what to see. And she even told us the best way to drive to Milan and what to see there. We learned about the olive oil they made from their 5000 olive trees and they provided a bottle of the oil for us to enjoy. There were 7 of us so the large dining table was a wonderful place to eat meals together. The sofas provided plenty of room for us all to sit by the fire. There is 1 first floor bedroom which was important for us. There are 3 different areas outside for dining. We even picked cherries off the wild cherry tree. And last but not least, Anna greeted us with one of her amazing homemade fruit tarts and a quiche! Blew our minds!

The property is located on the immediate outskirts of Perugia, a few kilometers from the most beautiful villages in Umbria. Clean and thoughtful, it offers a breathtaking view and great tranquility. Erminia is an exceptional person, a lover of nature and the environment. She advised us on what to visit and where to go to eat. She pampered us by making us find local salami and growing, and everything for breakfast. I highly recommend it
