Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Montcuq-en-Quercy-Blanc

We stayed for 10 nights as 5 adults and 3 kids all under the age of 5. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the size of space and facilities available were excellent and we felt right at home. The cellar was a big hit with the adults and we all enjoyed the pool day and night. Plenty of nice villages and towns within driving distance if you want to get out and explore which we did on several occasions. Rachel will keep you right with plenty of local tips and info she’s a great host. I’m sure we will be back, thanks again

Beautiful and spacious home in quiet village. Le Centenaire restaurant was walkable and provided good food and drink. Loved the farmhouse table in the kitchen and we spent many meals there or on the deck table. Many hot air balloons over the deck in the evenings. Kitchen was very well stocked for in home food preparation. Beds very comfortable. Very clean and well appointed.

Le gîte est parfait pour se ressourcer en famille,très chaleureux. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

Nous avons été accueilli par Didier un soir. C’était chaleureux et attentionné car il nous a acheté un « kit de survi » pour le petit déjeuner et nous a recommandé les endroits d’exception à visiter…cette région est un vrai coup de cœur. Le gîte est top, on s’y sent chez nous très vite avec la pièce à vivre spacieuse et sa superbe cheminée, la literie confortable, ainsi que le jacuzzi qui a servi tous les jours. L’extérieur est incroyable, c’est au milieu de la verdure au calme, où les grillons accompagnent nos journées et nos soirées. Le gîte est équipé pour les enfants…jouets, livres, vélos, balançoires et toboggans. À deux pas du château de Bonaguil, il est facile de profiter d’un des plus beaux châteaux de la région ainsi que du restaurant en bas. Didier, un grand merci pour cette semaine, c’était parfait !

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable chez Mia. Le logement était très propre et fidèle à la description. Le cadre est apaisant et permet une totale déconnexion. Mia est une hôte très réactive. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Petit séjour entre amis dans un lieu très sympathique. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le jacuzzi et le fait d'avoir des vélos à disposition, avec la voie verte juste à côté. Nous recommandons ;)

Wow, what an enjoyable stay! It’s described as Magique and it truly is a beautiful location. Lovely views of the river, hills, and hot air balloons. Leave room in your itinerary to just sit on the balcony and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of local wine. My group enjoyed meals prepared in the well-equipped kitchen and the nice gas grill. There’s a nice bakery right down the hill that you can walk to in the morning. Lots of activities in the area (canoeing down the river, biking, visiting historic sites). We have stayed in many houses and this was our favorite by far. My only hesitation in writing a glowing review is that it may be harder for me to book in the future. The hosts are responsive and welcome you on your arrival and have some tips for the area. Thank you so much Sandrine for a wonderful stay!

We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the apartment and its terraced garden. The view from the terrace is a pleasant one overlooking rooftops and towards a hill. It was nice to meet Ralf on arrival who showed us around, explained how the apartment worked and had time to have a chat - so much nicer than arriving to a lockbox. This is a new listing so I think almost everything is brand new - which was a plus. The beds were firm and to our liking. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery and cooking utensils - which is great as I like to cook. There is a nice dining table and chairs on the terrace as well as other outdoor furniture. The apartment is really close to the historic centre of Sarlat - probably a five minute walk. Also close by is a bakery and it is only a few minutes walk to the supermarket if you don’t want to drive to the bigger supermarkets on the outskirts of the town. The property has a locked gated entry with parking just to the side of the apartment.

le logement de Sophie est très agréable et rénové avec des matériaux de qualité. De plus il est proche du centre et des commerces tout en permettant de profiter d'un bel environnement et du calme. pour une arrivée sans stress Sophie avait mis à notre disposition : café, thé, condiments , etc c'était parfait .

Notre séjour s'est merveilleusement bien passé. Le logement est encore plus beau que sur les photos. C'est très propre, très lumineux et très calme. Le jardin est superbe et bénéficie d'une vue imprenable sur Cordes sur Ciel. Les enfants ont eu la grande joie de pouvoir y jouer, d'y courir. C'est un vrai coin de paradis. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit magnifique et y reviendrons avec grand plaisir!

We just spent a few days at this amazing apartment in La Roque-Gageac. The place is in a building several hundreds of years old, renovated with lots of taste, beautiful and modern bathrooms, a lovely courtyard with tables and chairs to relax in, comfortable beds. Adrien and Marion are a wonderful couple that welcomed us warmly. Our children loved their gentle dog, Indi - we loved the restaurant next door. The perfect place for a glass of wine and a taste of their remarkable food! Right in the center of la Roque-Gageac, loads of things to do such as hikes, castle visits, going to markets, cooking class, biking and canoeing (what we couldn’t do due to poor weather conditions). I highly recommend staying here! All the best to Adrien and Marion!

Maisonnette pleine de charme idéal pour y passer quelques au calme, près de nombreuses activités, restaurant, commerces et chemin de randonné ! Je recommande !!

Great apartment in a beautiful village right in the heart of it all. The apartment was not the easiest to find but great written instructions prior to arrival by host, Birdie saved the day. Thank you for an excellent stay.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans l’appartement de Stephanie Stéphanie est accueillante et sympathique, et nous a fourni les informations pour que nous puissions organiser nos visites au mieux et conseillé des restaurants de proximité. L’appartement est spacieux , lumineux , et confortable. Les poutres et les pierres , avec la cheminée , le parquet , lui donnent énormément de charme. Il est idéalement situé dans Cahors et tout se fait à pieds. Le marché est à 2 pas sur la place de la cathédrale Nous sommes arrivés le 1er mai donc beaucoup de commerces fermés , mais Stéphanie laisse des dosettes de café et l essentiel pour arriver sans avoir besoin de courir pour faire des courses , c’est tres appréciable. Nous nous sommes garés sans difficulté chaque jour dans la rue du logement, gratuit le soir et le week end à partir de samedi midi. Je ne peux que recommander cet appartement. La région est superbe, il y a énormément à voir, nous reviendrons 👍

We had a lovely week here. It’s so beautiful and peaceful and the house is great- inside and out but especially the garden and pool. Our kids loved it!

Nous n’avons pas eu la chance de rencontrer Éric en personne, mais la communication a été excellente : fluide, claire, et il s’est montré très disponible et à l’écoute. La maison est parfaitement équipée, avec de beaux volumes intérieurs, confortables et décorés avec goût. L’extérieur est tout aussi agréable, avec une grande piscine et une jolie terrasse ombragée près de la cuisine, idéale pour des déjeuners en plein air. Tout pour passer un excellent séjour en famille ! Merci encore, Éric.

Melody et Dave nous ont accueilli chaleureusement dans leur gîte décoré avec soin. Ils sont toujours aux petits soins et ont été de très bons conseils sur les différentes activités et les restaurants aux alentours. Nous avons adoré la quiétude du lieu, idéalement situé, au coeur de la vallée du Lot. Nous recommandons.

Een mooi charmant huis en met smaak gerenoveerd. Echt gezellig ingericht en voorzien van alle comfort. Het huis is gelegen in een rustige omgeving met een prachtig uitzicht. Leuk met de verschillende zit en ligplekken in de tuin en het zwembad is zeker een meerwaarde. We werden warm verwelkomd door Natasja en ze gaf ons goeie tips om de regio te verkennen. Kortom een echte aanrader, weg van de drukte en een plek om echt te relaxen!

An Incredible Stay with the Most Amazing Outdoor Space We had a wonderful time at Géraldine and Stéphane’s Airbnb! The highlight was the stunning outdoor area—easily one of the best we've experienced. The pool and jacuzzi were spotless, well-maintained, and perfectly placed to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Whether soaking in the hot tub under the stars or relaxing by the pool during the day, it felt like a true escape. The house was comfortable, spotless, and fully equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed—cutlery, pans, and all the right appliances. There were plenty of lovely seating areas, and we especially loved the patio that opened directly from both upstairs bedrooms—perfect for a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. While the home is in a quiet spot, charming towns and great restaurants are just a short drive away. Géraldine and Stéphane were fantastic hosts—welcoming and thoughtful. We left completely relaxed and would love to return!
