Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Montcuq-en-Quercy-Blanc

Everything you hope for in a AirBNB/ Gite in France! We stayed one week with our teenage kids this October. The house is old but has every comfort needed including a large fire place and a washing machine. The atmosphere is right and every room is decorated in a unique way. The garden is large with lots of places to sit, lounge and a table to have breakfast, lunch and even a bbq for dinner. We spend lots of time in the hot tub and at the very nice heated pool. Pascale is a wonderful host, she waited for our late arrival, she had snacks and even breakfast for us to get started, she provided nice bathrobes and towels for the pool, had great local recommendations and was always available for a chat. The place is a little secluded but that was just right for us. Lot’s of fields and forests with plenty of wildlife, we did lots of long hikes with the dog. And for a visit to the market, a restaurant, castles, etc most places are less than 30 minute drive. Highly recommended!

Great location for exploring the region, nice hosts, cozy apartments. There is only one place to eat in town, a restaurant that seems to be very popular, make sure to book in advance.

A perfect place to recharge, stroll and rest, but also very well located if you want to visit renowned places or discover more discreet places. This hamlet is beautifully restored, full of tranquility and beauty. Its owners have been able to combine, with taste, authenticity and modernity. We were welcomed with great kindness and simplicity.

Christiane is the best. Excellent communication and very welcoming person! The appointment was initially scheduled for 3 p.m.; following my request, she kindly agreed to move our arrival forward to 2 p.m. This accommodation is very peaceful, close to Sarlat and plenty of beautiful places to visit in this beautiful department. Very clean accommodation. The description of the offer is totally identical to the reality of this rental and unbeatable value for money in the area! Traveling is always a meeting: of a place, and also of people. At the hen house you check both boxes. The place is very beautiful, very peaceful. The large building has been renovated with great care, stone walls and exposed beams. It's really beautiful. And so, it is also meeting Bruno, who first of all takes care of his visitors, hosting, good products to share, and also very open to interact with you. It was a real pleasure for us to stop (couple with 19-month-old child, and a dog ;-)) on the way back from our vacation. See you soon, the hen house.

We had a wonderful stay - one of the nicest properties we have stayed at in France (and we have been to quite a few!) The photos don’t do the house justice - both the inside and outside of this property are delightful and allowed our big group their own space when they wanted it. It is in the most peaceful location with stunning views from every angle of the house and garden. The extra high chairs and cots were greatly appreciated and the little ones loved watching the deer, squirrels as rabbits in the garden and the surrounding fields. John and Sarah were incredibly helpful and quick to respond to any queries we had prior to our stay - I very much hope we will have the opportunity to come back to the house in the future.

Muriel and Jef are wonderful hosts. Welcoming and helpful but never too much. Their place combines homey touches and all that one needs in a stay. I would absolutely return.

Coming with a 2 month old baby, we had a very nice quiet evening, in a peaceful environment. The renovation of the place is very successful, the materials, furniture and equipment are of quality. The rooms are very spacious, and the decor has been done with great taste. Jean Michel was very attentive and very attentive to our needs. Nothing to say about the breakfast which was perfect, very hearty. In addition, the host allowed us to leave slightly later, and enjoy the garden and amenities at will after the scheduled departure time. Thanks so much!

Very nice room on a quiet property. Kathy is a thoughtful host who welcomed us with great hospitality. The room is well decorated and the amenities are as described. The bedding is of very good quality. Gourmet and varied breakfast. Always good advice that allowed us to discover unusual places or good places to eat, thanks to Phillipe too. We were hosted very well and will be happy to go back.

Friendly, always takes time for you even though she is busy with all her work and animals,always nearby but not striking. Beautiful pool, beautiful Location, beautiful starry sky with no light pollution and a great breakfast, I was only there but there was plenty to eat for a whole family. In short, top and 5 stars!

Keiyuki and his friends were lovely and offered a consistent breakfast including: fresh croissant, and bread, orange juice and hot drink, homemade piece of cake, butter and homemade jam. The swimming pool with the view is great!

We had a great time at Mathilde and Martin's place. The place is sublime, the house very warm. The common areas are very, very pleasant to live in, you almost feel in nature while cooking. The huge table invites for long discussions with the different hosts of the house. It's modern, welcoming, soothing, bright, friendly. We were with our one-year-old baby. She was able to frolic everywhere in complete tranquility. Everything was provided to host children. Thank you! And it was a nice meeting with Martin and Mathilde. You managed to do a very nice project of this house, well done! To summarize: we spent our stay wondering who we'll be coming back to spend a week or two with. We loved it so much that it already makes you want to come back! Looking forward to it!

The accommodation is warm, bright, cozy and clean. You'll find all the amenities of everyday life. The setting is quiet, wooded and peaceful. Pets are nice. The dog will naturally take you on a walk around, she is a very pleasant GPS:D Jocelyne and Jean-Pierre are very welcoming. They are warm but discreet. The kitchen offered is of quality, they are professionals (literally)! Feel free to ask them for tips for ideas for activities! We had a wonderful time in this department and this accommodation is a perfect inking point from which to weave very nice adventures.

A short break out of time in this very neat and easy to access place from the A20. A little more for the calm, the view of the valley the spa and of course the welcome of his Host Stephane very warm and responsive. We would highly recommend 😍
