Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Modena

Michele was so very accommodating and hospitable to us even though it was a very last minute request. He was very understanding to our situation and went out of his way to let us stay at his place. Everything was absolutely 5 stars. Thanks Michele.

we arrived easily following Giacomo's precise directions and found everything we were looking for, quiet nature and relaxation! not in the background the structure that offered all the living spaces described by the host. I highly recommend it to those who “want to unplug.” The trattorias in the area are also great.

A lovely spacious house, elegantly and stylishly furnished (AB&B photos don't really do it justice). Beautiful tranquil location - apart from the Apennine wolves we heard howling one night (a definite bonus in our book). Lovely walks from the house along the river Dolo gorge, and especially recommend the Golfarone waterfall about 25 mins drive away. A 15-minute scramble upriver brings you to a beautiful pool for swimming under the waterfall. Also lovely local neighbours, who offered us homemade wine and jam. Good local restaurants. Alessandro was extremely helpful and friendly.

Lara is a friendly and helpful hostess. We felt very comfortable with her. The apartment is on the lower floor, but nice and cool. The surrounding area and the space around the house are fantastic. Especially the large pool with the loungers under the trees. The sunsets while dining right by the pool will remain unforgettable to us. Fireflies can also be seen. The place is rather expensive, but superbly located. Also ideally suited for excursions. We will be happy to come back!

11/10, would more than recommend if you have a car. Francesco is an amazing host and the pictures do this Beautiful place not justice, it looks even better in real life. We definetly want to return.

The house is very large and beautiful, it has all the necessary amenities. Everything was very tidy and clean when we arrived. Martina was always available to help and answer our questions.

Carolina & Cristina’s place was beautifully decorated , had the comfiest beds and great linen. Each room area had its own privacy and very well decorated. We loved our stay in Bologna , walking to all the beautiful historical sites and eating at the local restaurants. Very conveniently located. They Even provide an area /tools for a stay-in meal. House is fully equipped and stylish.

Catia was courteous and available throughout the stay, beautifully renovated house and quiet location but still very comfortable for those who, like us, went skiing in Le Polle

Augusta and her son helped us a lot in a difficult situation. The fact is that we left early in the morning on the holiday and could not order a taxi , since the order required an Italian phone number, and, in addition, not everyone in Italy works at night, and even on a holiday. Augusta not only found us a firm, but also contacted her more than once and controlled so that nothing would break. If it wasn't for her, we could have had a big problem. As for the property itself, everything is as described. Clean and quiet. Lots of space, nice kitchen, 2 bathrooms. We were without a car and used exclusively the train and bus. 5-10 minutes from the house. We visited Florence, Milan, Venice, Riminni and, of course, often walked around the magnificent Bologna. We practically did not use the kitchen, as we had breakfast in front of the house in a cute coffee shop for locals, and had dinner, also opposite the house, in the pizzeria. Everything is very tasty and affordable. Highly recommend this place to stay during your trip. Thank you Augusta!

Good host. My stay was pleasant.

Fracesco’s place is very spacious and comfortable and centrally located in a beautiful apartment building with a lift. We were a large family group with a baby so the accommodation was perfect for us and we loved the vintage decor. The only downside for us was the overall challenge in Bologna with parking. Street parking is extremely challenging to find and we had to use a 24 hour parking garage that was a 20 min walk away. So come to Bologna by public transport and enjoy a fantastic stay here!

If I could give six stars out of five, I would. This place is lovely: beautiful inside, modern and clean, the hosts are friendly and flexible. Highly recommended.

The structure Giulia in the Bosco, met my expectations, excellent communication, Mrs. Tiziana with her husband were very helpful and attentive to my every need or request. Very quiet place and peace reigned daily. An entire apartment at your disposal. The property has served everything you may need at the time of your stay. What to say if I still need for any type of need, it will be a place to come back.

The home exceeded all expectations. It is very spacious and comfortable, stylish with attention to detail. Everything was also ready for a first breakfast. (coffee, me, cereal...) The location is perfect - all the sights are within walking distance. Excellent restaurants and bars can be found on every corner, yet the apartment is very quiet. Rosa Bianca is an excellent host. She takes care of every issue promptly. We were already allowed to check in at noon and use the apartment until the evening on the day of departure. Bologna is enchanting and this place makes the stay perfect. Thank you very much 😎

This place was perfect for our needs, having booked the entire villa for a business retreat with 10 people. Everyone had their own space in the private rooms and shared spaces - the living room, dining room, and kitchen - were more than spacious, perfect for spending these days together as a group! Victoria was always very helpful and kind. We hope to come back again!

We had a really lovely stay at the house. The poolside and the view are awesome and Marco was super nice. I absolutely recommend to do the wine tasting with dinner!

It was great to stay at this property we were pretty surprised by everything. It was amazing and will come back and highly recommend if you need city break.

Magical villa that was just perfect for our group of 4 couples. We appreciate that Lisa allowed us to book so early in the season. This is such a fantastically unique home! Loved, loved, LOVED walking through the old section. The bodega was so convenient. HIGHLY recommend Casato Maria Clarice for a special prix fixe meal. We so enjoyed learning how to make cheese at Caseificio Bio Reggiani. Visiting the Spilamberto Traditional Balsamic Vinegar Museum. We would definitely stay here again!

Renate's house in Poiano is in a fantastic location. It's incredibly quiet and you have a great view. We particularly enjoyed the hiking opportunities. (For this, we also accepted a journey by car to climb Monte Cusna or Monte Cisa etc. A corresponding app is helpful.) The area offers a lot for all hiking desires and degrees of incline, usually we met only max. 5 people a day; the Italian inhabitants are very friendly! On the mountain bike tours we often ended up in blackberry thorns etc. ; more for the very experienced. We absolutely enjoyed the 14 days!

Vittorio and Rosa Maria were the perfect hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. Vittorio provided great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit including a winery and cheese making factory. Also we had a fantastic meal cooked by Rosa Maria. It is a good base to visit other cities such as Modena and Parma (and others) by road or by train. The house was spacious, well equipped and felt like more like a family home with books, comfortable sofas a lovely sitting room and bedrooms. We very much enjoyed our stay and had a great holiday. Everything was great during my 1 month stay in April, the house is very big and has everything you need. The hostess and host are super friendly. And immediately make you feel free and not under scrutiny. The location is in the mountains and have a nice view. However, you have to count that the temperature in the valley is 4-5 degrees higher. In the morning when the sun is out, it's wonderful to spend time on the terrace with a cup of coffee and a book very well
