Apartment holiday rentals in Minusio

My husband, 6yo daughter, and I stayed at Carolina's apartment for two nights. The large terrace and the view of the lake and mountains are amazing - this alone is worth the stay. The apartment itself, though, was also very clean, comfortable, and spacious. The elevator directly to the apartment is convenient, and parking was very easy. The location is excellent - a quick walk to the lake, and we also walked to Locarno, stopping at multiple playgrounds along the way. There is a Coop gas station with a market nearby for quick groceries, and a bus station is also close. We had lovely autumn weather while there, so I can't speak to temperature control in the warmer months, but we did see several AC units, and there were fans available. All in all, I highly recommend and hope to return sometime very soon!

We were able to enjoy our stay very much. Everything was available and the way to the lake and the centre was short and with little traffic. The bus stop almost in front of the house was also pleasant. Many possibilities, also with public transport, to explore the surroundings. Top!!!

Fantastic apartment, view, swimming pool and communication throughout. We really enjoyed our stay. Jonathan was very kind and allowed us to check out late so the kids could have a swim before we headed home!

The main and most important thing to say about this apartment is that the view from the balcony is absolutely gorgeous and you won't find a better view of the lake or the mountains - it's just a lovely place to sit and relax. We had decided that if we were going to Locarno, we wanted to make the most of the lake and the mountains, and this apartment does that for you. The apartment itself is exactly as described in the listing, compact but very practical for a visit to Locarno. The kitchen is small but practical enough to cook a simple meal and it's a short walk, maybe 10 minutes to Migros or the Coop supermarkets. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone going to the area. We arrived by train and it's an easy 10 minute walk from the station, quite simple to find, but it would also be easy enough by car.

Donata was a very pleasant hostess. The beautiful lake view can be enjoyed from the rooms as well as from the garden. Donata was very easy to reach and answered each of my questions and messages very quickly. The house is located in a beautiful location in Brione. It is furnished with a lot of love. You can find everything from laundry to a very well-equipped kitchen. The house was very stylishly furnished and the garden is very well maintained.

Rodolfo is a great host. He is very friendly and speaks perfect German. The apartment is very well equipped. Parking space available. Rodolfo is totally straightforward and flexible

Comfortable, quiet studio, well located for getting around by public transport, you can cook comfortably, with a beautiful balcony overlooking an internal garden where you can see the lake between the trees and hear the birds.

Beautiful, very stylishly furnished apartment with a breathtaking view of Lake Maggiore and the countryside. The kitchen is well-equipped, the bed is comfortable and the terrace with a view is a great highlight. We can definitely recommend Matteo's apartment. We had a great stay! The check-in was super easy and straightforward, which allowed us to have a stress-free start. The apartment was very clean and well maintained – you immediately felt comfortable. We were particularly impressed by the location: in just a few steps, you are directly on the promenade. A big plus was also the parking lot right next to the apartment. Communication with the hosts was quick and friendly. We would come back anytime!

As always we were very pleased with Barbara's apartment. Everything is clean and well decorated. The beds are comfortable. It feels like home. Opening the shutters every morning to the beautiful view of Lake Maggiore and the sun gave us plenty of energy to start our days!

We felt very comfortable. In good weather, the view was fantastic and the garden was super beautiful. Rebecca was always very helpful and responded quickly. Despite the bad weather, we had a nice holiday. We would definitely come back!😊

Edvige is an excellent host. He left us fruit and something in the fridge to eat as we arrived on a holiday. It should be noted that there were no blinds in the room and the curtains were not very opaque, so the light came in early. Apart from that, the apartment was very good and the views from the terrace were impressive

Clean, spacious, simple, quiet place to stay. Very well located, bus stop, lake and shopping in the immediate vicinity. Very good public transport connections to Tenero, Locarno and Ascona. Cinzia was very helpful and quick to answer questions. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you Cinzia for the warm hospitality.

There were four of us with Beatrice and her cool crew (dogs Chilly and Zora and cat Mao) and we felt very comfortable. Beatrice is very warm and you immediately feel at home. The view is magnificent and having breakfast in front of the apartment overlooking the lake was one of the many highlights. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is well designed. The bathroom is very spacious. We will be back, for sure. The kids were very sad, they had to say goodbye to the animals after 5 days.

Incredible views. Highly recommend renting a scooter to make commute up and down the hill much easier. 10/10 would stay here again.

Very nice accomodation and very pleasant hosts! If we‘ll ever look for an air BnB in Milano again we would love to stay again :) awesome to reach by car as well and close public transport.

The rental was beautiful with an amazing view. It took 10 minutes to get to town by car. Easy drive to Varenna and Bellano. The outdoor patio was great with a large area under cover.

The host Andrea was really very nice and always helpful. He was quick to respond to messages. I can really only recommend it. Varenna is very easy to reach by bus/shuttle bus. It was as described in the photos :)

Amazing host , felt right at home from the second we met, perfect dog made everything much much more pleasant luca gave us great advices as well always present and respectful we enjoyed our stay hopefully we come back soon .

Silvia’s place is perfect for a stay in Como. The location couldn’t be better — it’s walking distance to the train station, the pier, and the bus stop to Menaggio and Bellagio. The apartment is super spacious, really clean, has a super comfy bed, and is fully equipped with everything you need. The washing machine was definitely a big plus. Silvia is incredibly kind and helpful from the very beginning. We totally recommend it — book it without a second thought!

We absolutely loved this place. What more can I say that hasn’t been said? The view is outstanding. You’re very high up the mountain. One morning we there was low lying clouds above the lake … and we were looking down on it from above the clouds. Clean and contemporary design, with a comfortable bed. You’ll need a car! The garage is very tight, so rent a smaller car. And getting there from Varenna involves a drive up a narrow winding road. It was fun drive … for me, at least.

Quiet and great place, the apartment was as described in the advertisement. We were 6 adults who had a great week in the apartment with great views. We rented bikes from @Bike it! Bellagio, very good service here too. Nice to cycle to experience new places, the ferry from Bellagio went to both sides of the lake and was easily accessible 😊
