Holiday rentals with a kayak in MIMAROPA

The place is divine! We took a private water taxi and landed a few meters from Happy Moon Beach House. It’s located on the beach itself, and not in the noisy part of town. Linens were all new and hotel quality, and the bed was very comfortable. Bathrooms were new and had good water pressure with good heater. The place was very clean too. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and wine glasses too. We asked to set up the grill and roasted hotdogs and marshmallows, and had a nice fancy dinner under the stars. We loved it! Movement around was easy with tricycles and tuktuks. We had a perfect stay for our group of 12. The place has all you need for a perfect friend and family bonding. Michael was great with our requests and Rose and Vangie were very helpful. Highly recommend! Best ever stay in Puerto Galera.

Frances is a great host, very responsive and helpful. The location of the house is amazing - right on the beach and quiet. We will definitely be back when the weather is better!

We had such a great time! The airport-to-villa transfer was super easy – they took care of everything, from the van ride to the boat trip. It was hassle-free. They arranged a land tour of Guimaras Island for us, and we loved exploring. The island hopping was definitely the highlight – so much fun! The villa is exactly like the photos – peaceful, with an amazing view that I couldn’t get enough of. The pool was perfect for relaxing, and my daughter loved it. She even said she didn’t want to leave – it really felt like home. The owner and staff were friendly and accommodating. We could cook our meals, but if we didn’t feel like it, they were happy to prepare food for us. Everything was so comfortable. Oh, and they made my birthday extra special! They surprised me with a cake and sang happy birthday. so sweet and thoughtful :) The view was our favorite part – surrounded by islands and the sea, it was worth every penny. Thank you sooo much Team La Roca!! Can't wait to go back! ❤️

It was what you paid for, my family enjoyed the stay. The beach is okay but don't get your hopes to high, It's not a white beach but a place thats just fit for the family that wants to spend time together. I love how flexible they were with the schedule, really enjoyed the pool, and a lot of kitchen ware that can be used. Lots of rooms as well. Overall, a great stay. 👍

Absolutely loved our stay here!!! We got so lucky that there were a couple nights available during our time in el nido because it ended up being the highlight of our trip! This place is a dream. You practically have the whole entire beach to yourself, the house is so peaceful, everyone that works on the property is a delight and the food was wonderful!! I could go on and on. We really loved our stay here and would love to come back one day. Waking up to the sweet pups on the porch in the morning having fresh coconuts picked for us and a yummy breakfast…. seriously a dream. Highly recommend if you’re looking for some time to unplug and spend time in nature :)

My family and I just wanted a short break from the hustle and bustle of Manila. A quick getaway from our daily grinds. We just wanted to be close to nature, have fresh air and lots of sun. Lyn’s place gave us all that. The “white house” provided us the comfort of modern living (presence of wifi, tv, microwave, airconditioning, shower, etc) in an unspoiled natural surroundings. Lyn was indeed a superhost. Communicating with her was so easy that it also made the whole stay relaxing with no fuss. The family renting Lyn’s yacht and sailing along the Laiya shoreline was an awesome bonding experience. The kids loved it so much as they jumped from the sailboat to do snorkling and kayaking. Our furbabies enjoyed sailing, too. This is one great place to bond and create memories with family.

I quickly felt right at home. The staff were helpful and the Manager was close at hand to sort out any needs. My room, a studio, had everything I needed including a functional kitchenl that I used everyvday. My view from the balcony was across the strailt to Luzon. l went to sleep every night to the sound of the waves breaking on the beach below my balcony.

We came here for our honeymoon and some tranquility after the wedding craze and many hours of travel from London. The place was paradise with beautiful white sands and crystal clear sea, fresh coconut juice and yummy home cooked meals. We felt like we were staying with family as everyone was so welcoming and warm. It was always quiet and private. Watching the stars at night while going for a swim was a treat. Going on the kayak during sunset and watching the sun go down behind the coconut trees on the island was absolutely breathtaking. Island hopping tours and snorkelling was available once we felt more energised and they were phenomenal. We loved taking naps in the afternoon and waking up just to get back into the sea! We enjoyed being surrounded by the animals, the cheeky goats, the pigs (especially Bacon!! Haha he’s funny!) the dogs, all playing together. We were really sad to leave and will definitely be back when we can. Thank you again to Rochelle, Vanessa and everybody!

Overall it was a great stay for our family. We got to relax and enjoy after our visit to Monte Maria, which is around 30mins away from the place. The kids enjoyed the pool. We liked how helpful the caretakers are, Ate Norie and Nanay Seria. They always help us whenever we need something, even setting up the bonfire and buying some stuff we need. Only one hiccup we experienced was with the water supply, it was gone for a few times but the caretakers managed to quickly fix it anyway. We liked it there and we’ll definitely come back. Thank you for making our stay very homey.

Such a beautiful spot overlooking great views of the water. Phoebe was so helpful and thought of everything, she went above and beyond to make our stay comfy and easefull- including giving us the menu for a local restaurant, placing our order and getting it delivered to us (and even organising uncle to bring it up the stairs). Fresh coconuts to drink and enjoy in the sun beds. The private beach is glorious, silky water and no one else down there. Best hosts I’ve ever had even with using Airbnb in New Zealand and Australia! Grateful and delighted! Great stay.

The place is really nice, peaceful and relaxing. There are several restaurants close to the place and small stores. There are free access to kayaks to explore the surrounding sea. But be sure to bring enough cash when coming, because there is no ATM in the area.

Such a treasure! Want your own private beach to relax on, then look no further. We loved this beautiful slice of tropical paradise. The home was charming, well-laid out, and comfortable. A great way to enjoy nature! Joy is a delightful hostess with an eye for detail, and she'll make you feel right at home. Close by but never imposing, she is just a call away in case you need anything. She also planned several romantic beach meals for our family (including a romantic dinner). Her husband Jose makes THE BEST food my husband and I have tasted in the Philippines. Seriously, I miss his cooking already. The couple helped arrange a kind tita (auntie) to help us with our baby so we could do beach activities with our toddler. This trip was a truly unexpected delight (pictures don't do it justice), and we'll definitely be back again in the future!
