I stayed at Makiko’s house with three friends, and we had a truly wonderful experience. The house looks exactly as described — cozy, clean, and full of charm. It’s located in a quiet, peaceful residential area and has a beautiful garden where two adorable dogs live. Don’t worry if you’re not a fan of animals — the dogs stay in a separate area and won’t enter your rooms, so you can relax comfortably. The location is also perfect — it’s just about a 10-minute drive or a 20-minute walk to Kumamoto Castle and the city center. Kumamoto Castle is absolutely breathtaking — it’s massive, rich in history, and unlike anything you’ll see elsewhere. It’s definitely a must-visit spot if you’re in the area. Makiko is a wonderful host — incredibly friendly, thoughtful, and quick to respond to any questions. She made sure our stay was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. If I ever have the chance to visit Kumamoto again, I would definitely love to stay at Makiko’s house once more. Highly recomme

We felt great in the mood and experience of staying at this home!There was always a lot of help throughout the stay, and the close neighborhood was peaceful to see in the house.I think I can experience a great Japanese life in the local area, and the deliciousness of long-life Japanese rice can be cooked in the house, and there are all kinds of rice cooking supplies, so it's really nice to stay in this house for a while.If there has been a chance we will check in again! Careful place Lots of flowers laid out in Acacia family There are also small touches that take into account the resident's experience, it is really recommended and right next to Kumamoto Airport, in a quiet neighborhood.

Really nice place to stay. Our main focus was the Aso-Kuju NP and it was an easy drive each day with no tolls. Super clean space in a very quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay again.
