Monthly Rentals in Micklethwaite

Katie’s cottage was in a great location, very close to the station, Salt Mills galleries, lovely pub, lovely park and shops and restaurants all easily walkable. The cottage itself was very interesting in a historic sense, but comfortably and conveniently modernised. Both beds (including chair bed) were comfortable. The kitchen facilities were very good. Check-in was straightforward. Peaceful historic location in the heart of Saltaire.

Lisa's place is full of character, with fabulous views across the valley. It is compact and very well equipped, and has a comfortable bed, and Lisa has added some nice touches to make the place feel homely. I did find it a bit difficult managing the stairs with my dodgy knee. The parking space is very small, but Lisa helped me find somewhere to leave the car.

This wonderful cabin was literally a late night booking for the following two days. Alyson was right on to it and it was booked before I went to bed! I know the area and I enjoyed my walks and memories. Alyson and David couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly not forgetting Alyson’s mum too! The cabin is just perfect with everything you would need and I think the saying is Small but perfectly formed. It was just what I needed, quiet and peaceful but I also enjoyed chatting on the sun soaked patio! Alyson and David should be immensely proud of what they have achieved…Perfection! I will hopefully be staying again in the near future. BTW the shower is so good!

Had a wonderful, perfect stay at the cottage. Rooms were lovely, clean fresh and perfect a typical cottage kept to original style. The roll top bath is a lovely little feature with the view out the window. The sauna downstairs was an extra little treat and gets really hot we used it a few times while there. The garden space is private and secluded, garden looks over the woodland and an old swimming pool which nature has reclaimed. The hot tub was amazing hot, powerful jets and in a very private area of the garden. We took two medium/large dogs and there was plenty of room they loved exploring and sniffing about the garden off lead and we could relax knowing they were safe and enclosed. Will definitely return again even though we stay at both cottages, they are just so nice and host are great too.
