stayed for quick little vacation with wife and baby, house was clean all the way around and located close to beach, shops and restaurants, would definitely stay here again

Great biking distance from the beach and pier. Great local restaurants like the Matey. Within driving distance from Chicago for a nice date out if desired yet seclusive enough to have private time as well. Very nice history and surrounding parks such as the Friendship Botanical Garden. The Airbnb was clean and Courtney the host is very quick to respond to any needs. Very nice place to stay.

Our family of 4 stayed here for a week and had a great time. We really liked being in Michigan City and also positioned to visit other places easily. We went to the National Park multiple days (really loved the hiking and beach at West Beach), went up to Silver Beach in MI, and took the train into Chicago two separate days. The house was a great home base and I appreciated all the thoughtful “extras” it had for our daily adventures— ziploc bags, beach chairs, beach toys, books; and for when we were home, plenty of laundry essentials, s’mores stuff and nespresso pods!

This is an exceptional place! The location is perfect for walking and and doing things yet there's plenty of ways to sit and relax. It is very well stocked with everything we needed. Jay was very responsive to my questions and takes very special care of his investment!! If you are considering this location the only thing I can suggest is that this is not a hotel- bring your own hand lotion, facial tissues and food if you plan to cook in the well stocked kitchen :) ... and maybe a fishing pole... our grandson caught some bluegill in the 'catch and release' lake! Parking for three is tight but available in front of the home, one in the yard and two on the street. It's three stories so if you don't like stairs, once inside, you can stay on the main level and still enjoy this home. We loved it !!
