My girlfriends and I loved our stay at the Big Dipper! The cabin is beautiful, comfortable and conveniently located. There was plenty of space for the six of us. We particularly enjoyed hanging out on the stunning deck, in the hot tub and at nearby Speedboat Beach. Sally was a communicative and helpful host, and her local recommendations are spot on! We would happily to return and will not hesitate to recommend this property to our friends and family.

We enjoyed the stay at Tina's place. Her house is in a quite neighborhood and very close to the sugar pine point state park. Tina provided very detailed check-in instruction and the place is well-equipped (you can even use the bikes from the shed). We had an issue with the hot water from the shower and she quickly communicated back and arranged for the fix. I recommend to stay in this place.

Stayed at Burt’s place while attending a herding trial in Gardnerville with our dogs. The place was perfect! It was so peaceful and quiet. Kitchen was well stocked and a joy to cook in. The dogs enjoyed the yard. Beds were super comfortable, locals were very nice. The restaurant next door, Stonefly, is pricey but the food and ambiance is excellent. We will definitely be back again!

We had a very nice weekend at the cabin. The pictures don’t do it justice . It was very clean and perfect for a relaxing stay. We will definitely be coming back.

We were looking for a private, rustic, yet modern weekend retreat and we found it. The setting was great and the cabin had all the indoor and outdoor amenities we were expecting, plus an expansive deck with comfortable furniture - and a helpful bug zapper!

I stayed here as a sort of base camp for some day hikes in the area (Round Top and Desolation Wilderness.). The home was exactly as described n the listing and had a lovely mountain/vacation home character. It was perfectly clean and the bed was quite comfortable. I really appreciated having a car charger, as the public chargers in the mountains can be hard to find. It was also nice being able to walk down to the creek a couple blocks from the house.

Loved our stay here and look forward to staying in the future. Brendan was very helpful and answered questions and concerns in a very timely manner. Beautiful home exactly as advertised.

Barry was a great host! He was very accommodating and very responsive. The cabin itself was very clean, cozy and had plenty of space. The location was very easy to find and check in was a breeze. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area - it was nearby great hiking trails and river access.

Great location and space! This was a trip for me and my husband and this was a great choice for the two of us. The space was beautiful and the location was great. We walked to restaurants and shops, it was a perfect combination of enough things nearby without being swamped with tourists. Neighbors were friendly and host was very responsive. Would love to stay here again!

What a lovely, relaxing, private, beautiful place. The location is a 10/10. The house is surrounded by nature - towering trees with light filtering through, the sound of birds chirping and the river running, and the peacefulness made it the perfect weekend getaway. Our favorite part was definitely the private lake access. The area was perfect for our toddler who loved playing in the bank with her sand toys. The depth of the water was ideal, and we enjoyed walking in the river and taking the kayaks up and down. There were even little fish swimming everywhere and the occasional duck floating by. We loved lounging in the outdoor chairs and just enjoying the scenery. The hot tub and game room were an added bonus. The house itself was perfect for the three of us and had everything we needed to cook all our meals. Would definitely stay here again!

The house is beautiful and very comfortable. It accommodated everyone comfortably. The beds were some of the most comfortable I've slept on in any Airbnb. Kathryn was very responsive host. my family and I would absolutely stay here again.

We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay with our dog. The home is a peaceful and quiet escape from the busy pace of everyday life. Surrounded by wilderness, it offered a great chance to disconnect and unwind. We even spotted a few deer in the late evening and early morning, which was such a wonderful experience! Just a couple of minor things to note: the bathroom sink was a bit farther than my wife liking due to height, and the bath towels could have been a bit cleaner. Otherwise, everything was great, and we truly appreciated the serene atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway!

Very cozy and enjoyable stay! It was a great place to relax and enjoy. We played a lot of dart and enjoyed warmth of the place. The views were great.

I went with a group of very close friends for our first time in South Lake Tahoe. The Airbnb is located in the best spot! We were just a short ride to the dock, trails, and local eateries! Mimi and Chris were the perfect hosts! They were responsive, accommodating, and all together everything we hoped for! Everyone in our group was amazed of how much space the place offered and how beautiful their home is. Definitely recommend and we look forward to our return!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lucia and Jen’s place! The cabin was clean, spacious, and full of charm. We were centrally located between multiple good hiking and activity spots. Perfect for a lovely weekend away!

Had a wonderful stay and looking forward to coming back! Place was very clean with an updated bathroom and kitchen well stocked for cooking. Extremely comfortable pillows and mattress (they were on the firm side, so if you like a soft mattress, be aware). Definitely recommend, great value for the price!

Very cute little cabin, perfect size for a family of four. The location was not right on the water but very close and near everything with a 10 minute or less drive. We weren’t there much during the day but it was very quiet and peaceful at night and we slept very well in our comfortable beds.

We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed our stay! The house is beautiful and the location was perfect. Love that every room had a tv. I really appreciate that they provide a new clean sponge for dishes. Their cleaners do a nice job! We would stay here again.
