Beachfront holiday rental in Melides

Probably one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve stayed in! It is even more beautiful than it looks like in the photos, with great views on both sides (it’s located on a corner atop of the hill). We stayed for a full month and traveled with our 6 month old baby, and Cruz provided us with both a high chair and a baby cot. There’s walking distance to decent surf. Parking was super easy. Maria downstairs is lovely and super helpful if you need anything. Lamelas next door is a great restaurant. We would definitely stay again! PS Don’t miss out on the market with fresh fish and vegetables! It’s in a very anonymous-looking building. Search for Mercado Municipal Porto Côvo. It looks closed but it is open!

It was a week that exceeded our expectations. 10 minutes from the beach, our daily life was complete with the tranquility and peace that only Alentejo can provide. I am very grateful to Mr. Luis for the great conversation and for Mr. Vitor's readiness to help us with what we needed. I recommend 10/10!

Well, what can we say, the best Airbnb we have stayed at. Perfect spot on the beach, perfect host! We were welcomed with a bottle of wine (😊), some fantastic local info and such a proactive host in Angelina. She gave us a great option for our day trip into Lisbon (only 40 minutes away by bolt & ferry), great restaurant options and also gave us some fresh lemons and eggs from her organic farm! We have stayed at many airbnb’s but have to say, Angelina was by far the best host we have had. If we ever come back to Portugal, we will definitely stay here again!

The great reviews so far haven't exaggerated. It is a very nice place, secluded with very warm hosts. Filipa and Luis welcome you in a small paradise, all very tastefully decorated with a lot of love. The cabanas are private, the kitchen is shared and can help yourself to fruits and vegetables and get lots of tips for the area. Definitely worth the ride in secluded and we will be happy to come back sometime!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Nathy's apartment. A very warm welcome with clear explanation about the apartment. Everything you need is there. Nathy is very helpful. The location is beautiful. Sea views, beautiful

This truly is a hilltop gem. Modern yet, homely place in a secluded setting with breathtaking, extensive views of the mountains and coast. Our daughter moved picking fresh salad and herbs from the vegetable garden and the place is beautifully compact with great WiFi. Cascais centre is 10 minutes drive and our favourite restaurant is 5 mins away (5 sentidos). Sandy beach is walking distance or a short drive. Petter was very accommodating. Allowed a later checkout and fully understanding of our very exceptional circumstances. He went out of his way to make our stay perfect. Muito obrigado!

We were three families with different requirements and the villa suited us all. Great for each family to have their own bathroom. A safe area for the baby to play without direct access to the pool. Easy walking distance to shops,beach restaurant etc There is some building work going on in the vicinity but it didn’t affect us. All in all a good value stay!

For me, it was a wonderful week overall. The apartment is functional and cozy at the same time. And comparatively very spacious. Gonçalo is a particularly good host. Always and quickly accessible. He responds clearly and is attentive to the traveler. During my stay, there was construction work in neighboring apartments, which was carried out during the day but naturally not done in a whispering manner. He responded immediately and quickly proposed a good solution. The noise on Friday and Saturday from the bar on the ground floor mentioned in other feedback was barely noticeable and did not bother me at all. I'll be happy to come back!

Fabulous apartment which is very close to amazing restaurants and bars. V close to the beaches and the pool area is also a huge plus point

We had a great stay at this property. The host is really lovely and communicates to make check in and check out as easy as possible. The area is lovely however not much going on in terms of restaurants and bars so would definitely recommend having a car. Can’t fault the cleanliness of the house. Was a great stay and would recommend.

We had a great stay! The balconies was great to use to catch some sun. It was always easy to get in touch with the host. The apartment was clean. It was also very spacious!

We had a great, restful time at Lurdes despite rainy weather. We were very warmly welcomed and provided with great sightseeing and restaurant tips. Elisabeth was always available for us and very quick to respond. The ocean view from the deck is amazing! The nearby beach (we would recommend a car) has great bars and clear water. Jorge is an outstanding host. Although we arrived late in the evening and had to self check-in, we encountered some difficulty locating the right apartment. However, after a quick phone call, Jorge guided us directly to it with ease. The apartment itself is comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. While we had read in other reviews that some of the interior feels a bit dated, it wasn’t an issue for us. The highlight is its prime location—just a short walk from a stunning beach and train station. Conveniently located in between Cascais and Lisbon which made it easy for us to explore the surrounding areas.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at ambassador suites! The location was excellent, the Belém neighborhood provided both peaceful surroundings combined with plenty of activities on the waterfront ! The house was spacious and provided the needed basic amenities. We enjoyed a few hours relaxing by the pool. It was easy to get to a market and a quick car ride to the Lisboa city center. The host was very easy to communicate with . We highly recommend Ambassador suites!

Don't think twice- book this place! Dalila's place is absolutely stunning inside and out. The kitchen is adorable and stocked with all the tools you need, the entire home was so clean, and you just honestly cannot beat the views. The weather was super windy and rainy during our stay, but that just made cozying up inside feel even better. Lovely little cafe just up the road, groceries nearby, and an amazing seafood restaurant that Dalila was able to get us a reservation at (even when I asked way too last minute, lol). We will remember this romantic little getaway forever!

We had an amazing stay at Bruno and Rita's property. It was so easy to just chill out and relax. The home had everything we needed with easy walks to grab food and hangout at the beach. The bed was super comfortable and the view from the bed and sound of the waves, was on point, it felt like the best dream before we fell asleep. Bruno is a kind and helpful host. It was fun and interesting to visit with him. We felt great energy from the host family.

A lovely small house overlooking the estuary across from Porto Covo. It is not intended to be hugely luxurious but had everything we needed for a highly enjoyable stay. Wonderful views, good walking from the door and shops/restaurants 2-3 mins away. I would definitely return if I had an opportunity.

The Airbnb is beautiful. Gorgeous. The nature surroundings are really nice. I had some electricity issues while I was there but it was just unfortunate. The container is super cozy and homey. I fully recommend staying here 🙏🏼

This is a magical place, meticulously cared for in every detail. We greatly appreciated the vegetable garden, the big outdoor space with the scents of spices and many nice activities for kids, the hot tub, the herbal tea made with garden herbs upon our arrival and the beautiful collection of children's books. We had such a relaxing weekend that recharged us! We highly recommend this accommodation, especially with your bambino :) Thank you, Dean!

We had a lovely stay. Joao is very friendly and welcoming. Everything is as advertised and it's a show every day to open the door of the house on the ocean. Surf lesson in front of the house, very good neighboring restaurant. I recommend her house.

What a beautiful place. We stayed for two weeks and loved it! Sleeping with the sound of the waves, walking out the door right onto the beach :)

Location was perfect: The beach was almost next to the appartment and it didn't take long to get to Lisbon with Uber. There were lots of bedrooms and bathrooms to share and the terrace with direct access to livingroom was really nice👌
