Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. Close to lovely Kattegat with access to the beach from the landowners' association beach. NOTE: due to dog allergy, no pets. Sorry.

Cozy cottage with room for 6 - perfect for families. We are a small family of two adults and two children who have chosen to rent out our cottage when we are not using it ourselves. We are really happy about it, and we hope you will be too. In the cottage you can enjoy a peaceful stay, where forest and nature are close by. The shallow sandy beach can be reached in 15 minutes' walk, where you can buy ice cream. The house is well-equipped with a dishwasher, heat pump and WiFi and the garden invites you to barbecue.

There are also charging stations if you come by electric car. Definitely a home to experience.
