Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Our cozy airbnb is located in the Weere, a beautiful and authentic place in the greenery. The rooms are ideal for travelers who want to enjoy the tranquility and the wonderful nature of travelers who are passing through. The surroundings are perfect for discovering several beautiful places in the Netherlands. Hoorn, Alkmaar, Enkhuizen, Volendam and Amsterdam are all within half an hour driving distance. You are fifteen minutes to the IJsselmeer and with half an hour to the beach.

Rural cottage

Get away from it all, enjoy nature on the edge of the IJsselmeer and beach. In the 2700m2 backyard of our farmhouse are two detached tiny houses with a large private garden and private entrance with lots of privacy. The cottage is within walking distance of the historic city of Medemblik and close to Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Amsterdam is 45 minutes away. Various possibilities for water sports. Beach, ports, shops etc. reachable within 5 minutes by car and 25 minutes on foot.

Cat & Breakfast, the B&B for cat lovers!

The Cat & Breakfast is the place for people who want to get away and love cats. Our cats Dix, Ted and Moby can visit you through a (lockable) hatch. In addition, you can get cat-friendly inspiration. The sustainable breakfast consists of homemade vegan waffles, an organic egg, organic cheese, fruit, jam and sandwiches. From the C&B, you can reach the IJsselmeer in 15 minutes and the North Sea in half an hour. Nice towns nearby are Medemblik, Enkhuizen and Hoorn.

In het mooie West-Friesland te Oostwoud verhuren wij een 4-persoons vakantiehuis genaamd "Hazeweel". Deze vakantiewoning bevindt zich op een klein vakantiepark. Het is gelegen aan doorgaand vaarwater met mooi uitzicht en privacy. Hazeweel is een knus, modern, ruim opgezet huis voorzien van een moderne keuken en volledig ingerichte badkamer én 2 slaapkamers. Mooie ruime zonnige tuin voorzien van terrasmeubels. Er is mogelijkheid om een visboot er bij te huren.

Romantic accommodation with a view from your bed on the water and a 2-person swing. From the love-seat, you can watch the TV or the fireplace (heating) and you have it cozy in the winter, or you can sit outside on the terrace by the water in the summer to daydream, read or play games. Kayak or 2 supboards can be booked. There are also bicycles, which you can borrow for free. The bathroom is 1 step outside the pipo and all for you.

Zelfstandig huisje met prachtig uitzicht - comfort en gezelligheid! Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Vanaf het voorjaar kun je met de boot of op een SUP-board de schilderachtige waterwegen verkennen.* Het huis staat in verbinding met de Grote Vliet, een populaire watersport- en vislocatie. Op fietsafstand van het IJsselmeer(strand). *Sloep te huur voor 75,- per dag (vraag naar de mogelijkheden i.v.m winterstalling)
