Chesterdale is in the heart of Kuitpo forest on 32 acres, surrounded by 8,900 acres of pine plantations and native forests. Perfect for walking and riding, the Heysen and Kidman trails are accessible through our back gate. Famous McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills wineries are nearby. While the guest suite is attached to the main house, it is quite separate and totally private. A 50 minute drive from Adelaide’s CBD and a 20 minute drive from southern beaches, it is perfect for a weekend escape.

Fast forward to present day and you will find a charming old cottage with a modern extension that has been thoughtfully designed, surrounded by a peaceful garden setting. Located within 6 kilometers of Woodside and minutes away from renowned wineries and restaurants such as Bird in Hand, Barristers Block, Petaluma, and Lobethal Road. Our beautiful studio apartment is positioned away from the main residence ensuring privacy at all times. The studio overlooks a beautiful lake with its own island accessible via a bridge.
