Relax in a fantastic holiday environment in a tranquil setting with the Grampians National Park as your backyard. Ideal as a romantic getaway, a relaxing break or as an adventure base, the Bush Lodge Retreat offers all the comforts you require. A picturesque stroll, less than 2kms, will have you in the heart of the Halls Gap village.
“I stayed at Marina’s place with a girlfriend in June 2020 to escape the craziness of the start of the year and we were not disappointed. The bush retreat is in a serene location surrounded by bush land. You wake up to the sound of kookaburras and are able to enjoy a coffee with kangaroos in the front yard! The house has a fireplace which heats up the entire house and gives the home a very cosy and welcoming feel. The other bonuses are two baths (one jacuzzi size downstairs and another normal sized bath upstairs) and Foxtel. We enjoyed multiple hikes which were very close by or just a short drive away. Marina was a great host and offered lots of tips on what to do around the Grampians and the top five hiking trails. The town has a welcoming feel and it was good to be able to support local businesses given the circumstances of 2020. I would strongly recommend you stay here!”
With stunning mountain views, kangaroos grazing at your doorstep and a roaring open log fire, the Redgum Cottage creates a space to step back from the hectic pace of modern life. The cottage offers you 60 acres of beautiful native bushland as your own secluded getaway. A place to unwind and reconnect with life’s simple pleasures, exquisite sunrises, glorious sunsets and some well-earned downtime all set at the foot of the Grampians National Park.
“This place was truly fantastic. Loved the look of the cottage, the stars at night, kangaroos, mountain views and absolute peace and quiet. The chooks were fun to watch as we had a cup of tea on the verandah. There is a powerful heat pump in the main room . Very clean place. Could have stayed longer then our 3 nights. Thanks Aidan and Corinne.”
Our beautiful Lodge is architecturally designed especially for couples. The Lodge is set back from the road for complete quiet and seclusion. Wildlife is abundant and the mountain views are amazing. Only a very short walk into Halls Gap and all it has to offer.
“This is great accommodation for anyone wanting to get up close to see the animals. We had kangaroos at our doorstep each morning and a number of different beautiful birds in the trees and on the railing of the deck. We particularly loved the wood fire, and were surprised at how it was secluded, yet a very short walk to the Halls Gap shopping strip. The best of both worlds! Joanne was very responsive to queries, and directions to find and enter the villa were clear and easy to follow.”
