Modern Mountaintop Retreat ~ Hot Tub ~ Deck

KatieRating, 5 stars6 days ago
this cabin was a gem! Just what I was looking for. My fiancee father lives in Luray and we wanted to surprise him and come down for father's day, but I also wanted a romantic, remote getaway for us. this was perfect! we surprised his dad, were able to spend time with him in Luray, but still had a beautiful cabin to retreat to, with a hot tub! And our dog was very welcomed. I loved the little added touches!

Waterfront 20 Mins to National Park & Massanutten!

WilliamRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a really nice time at the cabin. Everything was laid out very nicely and was ready for us the moment we arrived. The space is beautiful and right on the lake. It was extremely peaceful to sit in the large screened deck and hang out with the stunning lake in view. Hope to stay here again some day!

Private, Peaceful & Luxurious!

LisaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is our second visit to Jim and Lisa’s cabins (last time we were at the smaller one) and once again it was PERFECT! A fabulous place for a peaceful getaway in a gorgeous setting in a cozy, comfortable, sparkling clean and well-appointed cabin. It is the perfect combination of simplicity and luxury. We felt as though we were back in much more simple and graceful times, yet with every possible modern amenity at our fingertips. Cozy loving room, spacious open kitchen, charming bedrooms and best of all a great porch to sip coffee slowly and take in the beauty talk around. Thanks again Jim and Lisa! We will be back!

Mountain Guesthouse*Hot Tub*WiFi*Firepit*Grill*SNP

KatherinRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The Fox Den is one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the hot tub, roasting marshmallows at the outdoor fireplace, grilling steak, and simply relaxing for a couple of days. The cottage had everything we needed for cooking and grilling. Although the cottage and hot tub are located next to the main house, we still felt a sense of privacy. We've been visiting different Airbnbs annually in the VA and PA areas, and the location of this one was excellent. We followed two of the recommendations from the provided guidebook, and they were amazing (Carter's Mountain Orchard and Fiorano Restaurant).

This cabin and location were as peaceful and relaxing as they come! It’s close to Shenandoah National Park if you’re looking for some hikes or other outdoor activities, but it’s a perfect place to just hang out in nature and relax. We did not want to leave and can’t wait to go back!

Overlook Cabin - Hot Tub, Amazing Views, Fireplace

LaceyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was our first time using Airbnb and it was a great experience. It was a little weird as I unlocked the door and walked in the first time. Soft lights and a screensaver on the tv, felt like I was walking into someone’s house. The views from the cabin were amazing - even in the rain and fog. Returning from town one day we discovered the power was out. Brian had sent a few messages keeping us informed. The wood stove kept us cozy. The hot tub was relaxing at sunset and at 6:30 in the morning. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The road was rough and got worse with 2 nights of heavy rain, but someone was taking care of it as best they could. The rain had the waterfall running fast and furious. I have added pics of an early morning and a sunset from the deck as screensavers to my phone to remind me of this beautiful place.

Modern Cottage on 2 Acres - 10 Mins to Cville

DouglasRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Clean, safe, easy check in, spacious. Kid friendly. Felt peaceful and secluded in the forest despite the fact that it's near the road, which was pretty cool. Washer and dryer access was a welcome touch. Kitchen is well stocked. Easy parking. Not too far from town, and the roads around the property are well maintained and easy to navigate. Overall a great stay. Thanks!

The House in the Holla

TinaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Just what I needed…. Sitting on the porch listening to the river, watching the thunderstorm from the front porch, walking barefoot in the holler (I grew up near this house) or eating out at Vinny’s were the highlights to the weekend. There is also a birds nest in the hanging plant. The mama comes and goes. Very entertaining or watching the spider on the side rail spin the web in hopes to catch something good to eat. You have a wonderful place here! So peaceful

Stunning Views at Grand View - a treetop hideaway

JoshuaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an absolutely perfect stay at this 5-star rental in Luray! The home was immaculately clean upon arrival, and the fantastic view of the surrounding nature was breathtaking. We loved spending evenings by the outdoor fire pit and cooking on the Weber charcoal grill. The downstairs jacuzzi was a wonderful bonus for relaxing after a day of activities. Speaking of activities, the location was truly fantastic for outdoor adventures like canoeing and bike riding. We can't recommend this home enough for anyone looking for a superb getaway in the Luray area!

Foggy River Cabin Shenandoah River

AmandaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My husband and I enjoyed our stay here very much. The check in process was easy, views were great, hot tub was nice. Only complaints would be the bed as it was not comfy/very squeaky. We would definitely consider staying here again next time we visit Shenandoah National Park.

We had a wonderful getaway at Seths place in Rockingham. Perfect location for a group of 12 girlfriends that wanted to relax. Loved the pool and the porch/patio! Felt like Tuscany. Seth and Carla were extremely responsive to the couple of small issues we had. Definitely recommend.

Log Cabin, *Pool, Hot Tub* Views, Views, Log Fires

StacieRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! Close enough to all the hikes we wanted to do. Pet friendly (huge for us) and beautiful views! Please make sure you read the whole listing, as you definitely need a vehicle with 4 wheel drive to get up the driveway. We brought our own towels, sheets, and so on as stated and everything else we needed was available. Would recommend bringing dish towels. We had forgotten them this trip. Cooking pots and pans are little outdated but they’re just fine! We had a wonderful taco night anniversary dinner at the cabin and throughly enjoyed a nice soak in the hot tub. There’s a very nice above ground pool also but it was too cold this time of year to swim in. I would definitely stay again!

Panoramic Homestead

SydneyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
My friends and I had a great time here! Coach Mary's place was perfect for a group of 10 to stay and hang out. The kitchen was huge and well stocked. There was plenty of space inside and out to spend time together or to do our own thing. We loved playing volleyball, basketball, and hanging out in the hot tub. I just wish it had been warm enough to use the pool. Coach Mary and her property manager are also very friendly and responsive. The whole house and property are just beautiful. The only downsides to the place were that the grill was tricky to manage and the volleyball court wasn't as sandy as it was grassy. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would stay here again!
