Monthly Rentals in McDonald Island

A cute, cozy home exactly as described (take note of steep steps to 2nd floor bedrooms/kitchen/full bath). Walkable to everything you'd want to explore in Gananoque as well as to grocery store/pharmacy. Quiet neighborhood despite being steps from the "downtown" area. The home has everything needed for a comfortable stay, as well as thoughtful touches (extra toiletries, a snack bowl when we arrived). There was plenty of room for our party of 5 adults. We enjoyed walking through neighborhood streets admiring gorgeous gardens on our way to the waterfront. Highly recommend Stonewater Pub and Cafe Pistachio, wish we had been able to try The Purple House and Laverne's (this eraly in the season hours were oddly variable). Also best blueberry scones ever from the bakery a few doors down from Nappo's! Highly recommend Tyler's place and hope to return someday soon!

Sheri's property is great! It is very close to Gananoque, barely a 5 minute drive. Tim was also very helpful with our check in and gave us great local recommendations. The basement apartment is very spacious and the pool table and table tennis are a nice touch for some fun activities. It is a true country property, so there are the occasional bug here and there (small ants etc) , but we understand this is common on a rural property. Unit was clean and Tim showed us everything we may need when we arrived. The highlight has to be the big yard space with the fireplace, which we really enjoyed one of the nights under the stars. Overall it is a great property for the area and the price. I would much rather spend my time in the area at this property than at one of the chain hotels in Gananoque that look pretty dated/run down. Thanks Sheri and Tim for a great stay, highly recommend.

Beautiful art and very clean. There was a lot of noise Friday night because there were lots of hells Angels hanging out right outside. Don’t know what that was about. Great beds and accommodation

Ryan and Graylin’s loft was so lovely! Spacious, spotless, beautiful decorated, and in a fabulous location. Walkable to restaurants, parks, and waterfront. They were great hosts who were very responsive any time we reached out. We loved are time there and can’t wait to come back!
