The Stargazer is a perfect staycation/vacation cottage, welcoming guests to stay on a 68 acre tree farm with 8 Nigerian dwarf goats, 6 sheep & three chubby dogs. The farm was recently quoted by Vinton Soil Water Conservation as a wildlife mecca, perfect for anyone looking to reconnect with nature & relax. Various species of birds, hawks, owls, deer, wild turkeys, geese & occasional bobcat may be spotted. By booking a stay, you are agreeing to make a donation to The Stargazer Trust.

Our location is a short 10-20 minute drive from main attractions -Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, and Old Man's Cave, this cabin is a perfect place for a family to explore Hocking Hills. Nestled on 5 acres with 1 other cabin you'll be able to enjoy trails on the property as well. This cabin was designed with modern touches and a wall of windows to bring nature to you!

Equestrian Studio

Quaint in the hills of Southern Ohio. This studio apartment is a one bed room with a lovely view overlooking the outdoor horse riding arena. It offers a kitchenette and sitting area downstairs. Upstairs has a queen size bed over looking the riding arena. A country setting at it's best. Pet friendly. Trailer Parking available. Some weekends we host equine events. Horses and exhibitors will be around the facility. There is a horse arena in front and at times you can watch !

Easily pitch your tent in an open field or trek through the hills and hollows to find the perfect primitive campsite. Within a half-hour drive, there are many opportunities for hiking, biking, horseback riding, kayaking, hunting and fishing, and birding.

Located on a working farm in the country, yet a couple miles from Ohio University, you havel 40 acres for nature walks, easy access to town and unique wineries. The Tired Beagle has ample parking and located next to road for quick access.
