Cottage holiday rentals in Maury River

Stayed here for a 30th birthday girls' trip- the location was a quick drive away from hiking and vineyards, and around the corner from a convenient store and cute little creamery! We loved the decor, hot tub, and ample sleeping arrangements. The hosts were communicative and flexible when we asked to extend our stay. Would recommend!

We rented Rachel‘s cottage for a quick weekend and it was absolutely perfect. We love the privacy and took advantage of the fire pit, hot tub, grill as well as the local river. Rachel was an absolutely wonderful host and very responsive and helpful during our stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We had such a great stay! Our family really enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub after our days of hiking. We appreciated the great small touches including the s'more ingredients, the delicious brownies, and seperate towels for the hot tub. The backyard is so peaceful. The house was very spacious and clean for a family of 4 that included 2 college aged kids. I highly recommend this place. Thank you so much!

Amazing home and a greag place to just get away

Great stay, just what we needed. would recommend coming well equipped, it's remote and not the most well stocked rental.

Our family had the best stay at Amy’s place! It was clean, well stocked and the beds were super comfortable! The fire pit out back was so nice to relax after a day of exploring and wine tasting. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed this cabin so much. It's so private and quaint. There is no cell service here, and we enjoyed it so much. Such an amazing opportunity to "unplug". There is wifi of course, and we did utilize Netflix. The screened in porch was so wonderful, and we enjoyed having lunch outside and listening to the river. There were so many places to hike, and spots to fish. Exactly what we were looking for on our weekend getaway. Host was super friendly. Would love to visit again.

We had a wonderful, cozy stay! The house was clean and comfortable and the yard is large and was great outdoor space for our kids to run and explore. The house is located within walking distance to many trails which was great for a family hike! We will definitely book this place again if ever visiting the area again!

Clean & comfortable cabin, great for a weekday away! Great location to some local spots & breweries. Loved the backyard bonus space to enjoy a relaxing night sitting outback with our pup!

The accessibility ramp to the beautifully landscaped house was a huge help to my Mother who uses a walker. The bathroom isn't next to the bedroom so it was a little bit of a walk for her but it was big and had a handrail at the toilet which really helped her. The house was big enough for us and had everything we needed. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed celebrating Easter weekend with meals and board games at the big kitchen table. Also everything we needed for food preparation and serving was there with a good sized refrigerator for storing leftovers. The beautiful yard was great for an egg hunt and corn hole games, which we brought with us. At night it was nice to sit at the firepit roasting s'mores or just looking at the stars.

Beautiful, clean cabin. Breathtaking views - photos don't do it justice. And the wine was fantastic!

This is the third year we’ve come back to the Gatekeeper Cottage and it’s just as wonderful as always, Adrianne and Brick are very friendly hosts! We hope to come back again in the summer even if just for a day to enjoy the house in another season. Thank you again for having us back!

The cottage was clean and cozy. It is easy to get to and quiet. We enjoyed our stay convenient to nearby amenities. Hosts were responsive and helpful and the house had everything we needed!

This is a beautiful spot. The home feels warm and inviting and is directed thoughtfully and comfortably. We felt right at home. The outdoor property is large and private. Absolutely stunning. Even thought we live just an hour and a half away, we saw birds that we’ve never seen before. Sitting out by the river was just spectacular and we were treated to bald eagles flying overhead. Highly recommend this gem.

Great private retreat not far from Charlottesville! The tea house was perfect for a weekend with two couples. We appreciated the large porch and design features throughout the home. We all loved the strong, hot shower and comfortable sofa after spending the day hiking.

Tyler’s place was a fun, quirky and comfy place to stay. We had everything we needed! We were going to enjoy a for pit one evening, but the winds were so strong we ended up not thinking it was safe. Hopefully someone gets to use the logs we left behind!

Wonderful stay in a well appointed and cozy but not small Airbnb. Pleasant decor and furnishings. They really thought of EVERYTHING to include down to flashlights and travel coffee mugs (and more). Their guidebook was super helpful and Carolyn even helped me understand if grocery stores would be open on Easter Sunday, our arrival date. The king mattress was super comfortable. Great location, nearby so many attractions. We would happily stay there again.

This was a great place for a getaway. House was equipped with everything you need plus extras like games and books. We also had a binder with a history of the place and local recommendations for food and attractions. It was bigger than I expected and was very comfortable. Karen was a lovely host and gave us excellent pointers so we arrived with no issues. I would definitely go back.
