The traditional wooden building, which was finished without a single nail, was completed by a famous architect and a master carpenter.It is a calm space where you can feel the warmth of handiwork. Powerful and delicate wood, shoji natural light, shoji and shade of Isamu Noguchi's Akari lighting create a beautiful blend of tradition and modernity. Artisanal stucco walls are used in the room.You can stay comfortably in any season while being surrounded by the scent of cedar and cypress. The size is 195 ㎡. It is a 60-minute bullet train ride from Tokyo to Karuizawa, and a 30-minute drive from Karuizawa Station, so you can work in the morning and leave half an afternoon. Family groups of around 8 people love it. Located in Dainichi, Karuizawa-cho, it is about 5 minutes by car from Shinano-Kazumi Station.The west and north sides are very quiet and calm as the state-owned forests approach.
