Brad’s home was a welcoming space after our long roadtrip. It was very clean and included off-street parking. The living room was comfy, the bedroom and bathroom were spacious, and the kitchenette and dining rooms were just what we needed for our short stay. Natural light from windows only came in from the living room which was fine with us as we just needed a place to rest after a day of hiking. It was lovely to wake up to the freight trains (which you can’t hear from the dining or bedroom) and mountain backdrop of the George Washington & Jefferson National Forests. We could hear the guests in the unit above on our first night, but all was quiet by the time we slept and we did not wake up/ hear more noise the rest of our stay. The summer heat was just beginning, and the home stayed cool throughout the day. We would stay at Brad’s home again next time we visit the Shenandoah National Park!

Our family loved staying here over our Christmas week. Ashely and Nick decorated the house with a Christmas tree and other holiday decorations and we felt right at home. The house has amazing space to spread out in different area, so kids can enjoy the games room while parents could be in the hot tub. We loved exploring Massanutten and all the activities it had to offer. The house is in the perfect location to do this. Overall we loved our stay and would highly recommend the house for families.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Weekend Getaway in Basye! My family stayed at Jeff and Christie’s beautiful property for my husband’s 40th birthday. I can’t say enough great things about our weekend stay in Basye, VA! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The cabin was spotlessly clean, modern, beautifully decorated. Jeff and Christie were incredibly thoughtful and communicative, making check-in a breeze and offering great local recommendations. The views were stunning—especially the morning view on the deck. We spent our days relaxing and enjoying the scenery and visiting Bryce Resort (just minutes away!) The peace and quiet of the area is unbeatable, and you can really feel a sense of calm and connection to nature. We left feeling very refreshed.
