Great place to stay in Fredericksburg with a great location near downtown.

Overall a very positive experience. Kelly’s home was perfect for a one week stay for just one person and both Kelly and her husband were very kind. One of the big reasons I picked this location was for the cozy backyard space, and I think it lived up to my expectations. That said, a couple things to note would be that there is no designated parking spot. I was given a parking pass for street parking and some days I had to park a couple of houses down. This also isn’t a “central” downtown Fredericksburg location. There are still cute restaurants, but for most you’d have to walk a mile plus to get there. You also have to walk and cross at least one busy intersection to get to the Rappahannock Trail that is a main attraction for the area. That said, there IS free parking in downtown Fredericksburg and I don’t mind a little sunshine so that didn’t bother me, but I know it might be a deal breaker for others.

This was in a great location. The apartment was really cute and you can walk to literally everything!!! Parking was a little bit of an adventure but we worked it out :)The videos shared were helpful as well to answer any questions and they offered nice suggestions. The beds were really comfortable which was surprising for a couch. The street was a little loud but not bad and was expected since it was downtown. The space was well used and filled with everything we needed for our stay. I can’t say enough great things about the location though as once we parked the car, we didn’t have to move it again until we left. Also, when we couldn’t get the solar remote to work, but the host was super responsive and helpful and we figured it out. This was a great stay and the red door made it helpful to find the place as well as all the information provided prior to our stay. We had a wonderful time.

It was great! Stayed longterm and it was a great place.
