Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Marrakesh-Tensift-El Haouz

The Riad was beautiful and even better than the pictures. It was a perfect location within the Medina and walking distance to most attractions. Alice has done a great job decorating the place. Abdou and Fatima made our stay seamless, easy and special. They made a great spread every morning for breakfast. Abdou was particularly helpful in making restaurant suggestions…Atay Cafe and L’Mida were both great choices.

Inside the old walls of the medina, Baladin is up a quiet alleyway. The soothing waves could be heard. Felix was very welcoming at Baladin, greeting us with mint tea and some delicious sweet sesame delicacies. He showed us around the riad and gave us suggestions for places to eat (one of which we kept going back to - Chez Loubna). The staff are warm and friendly. Essential oils and night lights lightly fragrance the air. The roof terrace was perfect to do my yoga on at sunrise. Glimpses of the ocean. Straw hats and blankets supplied for creature comfort. In December Essaouira is hot by day, and cool by night so the real log fire at breakfast felt super cosy. A hot tub on the ground floor. The room had a kettle, some herbal teas and a hot water bottle! The decor was light, airy, unpretentious and natural - drift wood 4poster bed, white walls, grainy wood, craquelure plaster walls, pots of cacti, opening windows. We got to meet the owner - a very friendly ginger cat called Simba.

Nous avons passé 4 jours au Riad. Rachid, Mou et Youssef nous ont très très bien accueilli. Rachid a su nous recommander des endroits fabuleux et s’est même chargé de réserver pour nous. Nous remercions également Samira et ses petits déjeuners délicieux et variés : fruits, yaourt maison, pains et pâtisseries locales, œufs, thé, café, jus d’orange frais…. Le Riad et les chambres sont magnifiques, identiques aux photos. Ilest situé à deux pas de la place des ferblantiers et entre 5 et 10 minutes de la place jeema el fna. Nous reviendrons 😊

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb. The whole house was ours to enjoy, and it was everything we could have hoped for. The highlight was definitely the four-poster bed, which was so comfortable and offered breathtaking views of the ocean. Waking up to that in the morning was absolutely magical. The house itself was beautifully designed, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway in the Medina. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

On se sent comme à la maison à Irocha, l’endroit est magnifique et chaque objet est choisi avec goût. Ahmed est un amoureux de sa région. Nous avons eu la chance de partager une journée avec lui pour découvrir l’oasis de Fint et Ouarzazate sous un autre œil. Merci pour tout !

A beautifully restored riad in the heart of Marrakech - elegant, clean, cool, comfortable and well maintained. The main attractions and vibes of the city are within easy walking distance. Our hosts were easy to contact, responsive, friendly and solicitous. Our fantastic housekeeper arranged longer distance day trips with trusted people so that, as first-timers to Morroco, we felt safe, looked after and welcome. We were travelling with older family members who found the set up here to be a really great introduction to the remarkable Marrakech world. I would very happily return here - great hospitality.

A beautiful Riad in a great location in the heart of the medina close to souks, the secret garden and some of the best restaurants. Our room was perfect on the ground floor with a en suite on a mezzanine. It was air conditioned but in May was naturally cool at night. The staff were friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

questo riad é semplicemente perfetto in ogni dettaglio studiato finemente, saremo rimasti altri giorni per godere del riad. Naima presente ma allo stesso tempo discreta, ottima cuoca per delle cene deliziose , e che colazioni sublimi. Abdou ci ha aiutati a portare i bagagli ed é sempre stato disponibile ad ogni nostra richiesta con tanta pazienza la terrazza con piscina sono stati il nostro angolo di paradiso grazie di tutto

Non loin de la cité extra de Essaouira, À 15mn de l’aéroport de la ville, le site perdu dans la nature apporte de suite une ambiance sereine et calme dans un environnement sec et aride. Et puis la douce piscine avec ses transats. Aucun son, des vues imprenables, la douceur du vent parfois et l’accueil simple et chaleureux de Marion et Saïd démarre un séjour de repos et de réflexions éventuelles en couple ou en solitaire dans les multiples alcôves et recoins réparties dans cette grande maison fait main et situé à 3h de vol de Paris ou Marseille. La grande suite avec sa cheminée fait de torchis traditionnel est douce et apaisante. Merci et à bientôt. Nous avons passé un séjour formidable chez Mitsou. L'emplacement est parfait pour profiter de la médina. Les conseils de Mitsou sur les restaurants, bars et boutiques (tous testés par elle !!!) sont précieux pour une première visite d'Essaouira. Le Riad (récemment rénové) est décoré avec goût, la literie impeccable et les équipements complets. Attentive à ses voyageurs, Mitsou fera tout pour que votre séjour soit le plus agréable possible. Nous recommandons à 100%

Our stay in the Medina was very exciting. But what made our experience far beyond perfect was Bahia and Fatima. They accommodated you in everything they can. The Riad is a short walk to the car pick up. Marrakech has our hearts.

trèa bon séjour chez Hamid! ce fut un plaisir de découvrir l'Atlas, la culture locale, d'aller visiter les villages berberes alentour avec lui. la nourriture était excellente, portions très génereuses, chambres spacieuses et confortable. Très beau cadre autour et belles randonnées. Hamid est un très bon hôte et très bon guide. merci beaucoup!

Wow! What a beautiful place to stay - the Riad is like something from a fairy tale... There is a big courtyard where we could take meals, a lovely little pool and so many rooms and places to explore. Also, some very friendly cats to hang out with! Our room was so nice and it was serviced quickly every day. It was a little bit of a walk from the main part of the old city, but we liked that - it was quiet and away from the busy part of town. That said, there was loads of the local shops and life to see just outside the door. So overall, highly recommended and a lovely place to stay!

Je recommande ! Super accueil Mary et Frank prennent le temps pour s'assurer aue tout se paase bien et nous donnent des conseils. logement très propre et malgré au'il n'y ait pas la clim le logement reste plutôt frais (vous avez un ventilateur à dispositions si jamais). Le personnel du riad sont tous très gentils et contribuent à la qualité du lieu. Enfin, le quartier est un peu pauvre mais est pas si mal situé et vous n'avez pas à craindre d'insécurité.

The riad was beautiful, exactly what was shown in the pictures. Although it was inside of the market, it was situated off a a private pathway which allowed it to be quite peaceful. The hosts and staff were lovely, very helpful and always available. The location felt safe and I never felt uncomfortable being alone. The location was perfect , there was so much to see and do. Breakfast was great, beds were very comfortable, and the place was always spotless. I really loved my stay and would definitely stay there again whenever I come back to Morocco.

Dal primo momento in cui siamo arrivate ci siamo sentite veramente come a casa nostra, anzi, molto di più. Siamo state accolte da Mohammed e Saad che ci hanno offerto il thè marocchino. Sono sempre stati disponibili e attenti, anche più del dovuto. Ad esempio nel momento in cui ci siamo accorte che il phon era rotto Momo ci ha portato il phon da casa di suo cugino. Ci sentiamo di consigliare questo Riad che é il una zona tranquilla e comoda per spostarsi a piedi.

Our stay at this Riad was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed not as guests, but as family. The Riad itself is stunning — every corner is thoughtfully designed, blending traditional Moroccan beauty with comfort and serenity. The attention to detail, the peaceful atmosphere, and the breathtaking views made it the perfect retreat. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was the hospitality. Halime greeted us each morning with a warm smile and a breakfast that felt like it was made by a loving mother — fresh, delicious, and full of care. Her kindness set the tone for the day. Jan and El-Hossein were incredibly attentive, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. They were gracious, warm, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We left with full hearts, grateful for the generosity and spirit of this place. We can’t recommend it enough — not just the Riad, but the entire area. It’s a gem worth discovering.

This place was great and we loved it!!! The rooftop was amazing and Aicha was a gracious housekeeper, very accommodating and attentive, and her food was to die for! She made our stay perfect with her caring nature. We were two families of four and it was the perfect place for us to stay.

Riad paisible qui permet de se ressourcer après l’effervescence de la médina. Il est facile d’accès et facilement trouvable… Personnel très accueillant et à l’écoute qui nous a permis de déposer nos bagages en attendant notre chambre pour poursuivre nos visites.

J'ai passé un excellent séjour ! Mounir nous a réservé un accueil chaleureux, très réactif et disponible pour toute question. Le logement était impeccable, confortable et parfaitement situé, proche de tout. Je recommande vivement ce logement, j’y reviendrai avec plaisir !

I don’t even know where to start. I’m a single mother traveling with my child and booked Fatima’s place very last minute due to an unexpected situation (no fault of Morocco’s!). Fatima was incredibly responsive even before I booked. We arrived a bit late, and she kindly met us as far as the taxi could go. The home is lovely—spotless, cozy, and so comfortable. The breakfasts and optional meals are absolutely delicious. Fatima and her mother made us feel like beloved family, not clients. It was exactly what we needed in that moment. When we checked out, her mother even walked us to our next destination. We ended up leaving where we were supposed to stay for the next three nights—and came right back to Fatima’s. I highly recommend staying here. I’ll be telling all my friends and family I’ve found the perfect spot in the heart of the Medina. (Super walkable, too :) ) THANK YOU, FATIMA AND MAMA ♥️ We love you both.

Wir haben uns in Delphines Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer ist wunderschön, die Dachterrasse lädt zum verweilen ein und das Frühstück war super lecker :). Wir wurden sehr herzlich aufgenommen und alle waren so lieb :). Ich kann Delphines Unterkunft allen sehr empfehlen! Vielen Dank, für den tollen Aufenthalt und die Gastfreundschaft ☺️
