Located in a quiet cul de sac, just a short walking distance to the lake. A two story home with a large open area upstairs offering a sofa, one queen and one double bed. Downstairs, there are two double bedrooms, with queen beds and a smaller bedroom with a double bed. A modern kitchen, dinning and lounge with ranch sliders onto the deck. A separate shower, toilet, hand basin/vanity and laundry. Lovely decks, outdoor furniture, BBQ and large pizza oven/outdoor fireplace. Fenced x 3 sides.

Soothing Riverside Cabin, Taumarunui

No cleaning fee, minimum 2 night stay. Cabin is a bedroom only, toilet, shower and kitchen located separately a few metres away. You are on the tip of a peninsula in the Whanganui River. Lie in bed and watch the fish rise in the morning, sit around the fire in the evening enjoying the peace and quiet after a swim. Mountains are 40 mins away, kayaking tours 10 mins away and Taumarunui is 12km. Please don't bring water, free, safe water is provided. Limiting plastic is much appreciated.

This off-grid and self-build hut, unreachable by car, is set in a quiet, idyllic, rural landscape, overlooking rolling farmland with no another property in sight. It is situated in the middle of our 120 acre cattle farm. Solar power,a walk across rolling farmland, and a STEEP AND UNEVEN 10 MINUTE HIKE UPHILL to get to the hut, offer an authentic off-grid experience. We recommend only bringing up the bare necessities. The apartment is below our brand new home, however, it is completely separate with your own private entrance and outdoor areas. We are two minutes walk away from Rotorua Tree Trust and a five minute drive to world class mountain biking and walking trails. This apartment is not suitable for young children who need space to run around inside.

The woolshed - pet friendly luxury retreat

Converted woolshed, set on a small farm of 25 hectares. We have cows and horses. We are 15 min from Taupo town. The Woolshed is separate from our home, giving you privacy during your stay. From the deck area/French doors all you will see is farmland! We are directly off SH1, down a long drive way, making this a great location for those wanting a place to stay during a road trip, but also quiet and peaceful if you want a few days away!
