Description We, the Kenkel family, have been living in the old mansion from 1938 since 2006, which was built by Frl. Paula Rath was built as a farmhouse to the Dammerstorfer estate and was sold in 1942 to the aircraft manufacturer Ernst Heinkel as a hunting lodge. Our 2 hectare farm is located on the L19 between Bad Sülze and Sanitz, about 20km east of Rostock and 30km from the Baltic Sea in the middle of a ca. 600ha large The 3 ca 150qm gr. We provide parking spaces for caravans, etc.

Welcome to the holiday idyll on the edge of the forest. The property is located on our property, surrounded by the unique nature of Mecklenburg Switzerland. Nestled in the hilly landscape, you will find pure relaxation here. The building complex consists of a large sleeping and living yurt and a cottage in which the fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with warm water are located. Enjoy the moments in the sauna, by the pond, by the campfire, in the hammock or in the flower garden.

Our house is spacious and sunny. We can easily accommodate 8 to 10 and at a pinch 11 guests. The house is suitable for people with disabilities. WiFi is available. Separately, we have built a new sauna with an additional double bed/relaxation room and en suite bathroom. In the garden (4000 sqm) lies a large swimming pool (14x5m)), which can be heated on request. The apartment is in a historic building. We modernized in 2002. It was renovated in 2016, preserving its character.

The apartment (since mid-July 2020) is small, lovingly and specially furnished with clay-plastered walls, hand-painted bricks on the floor, favorite pictures and furniture. It borders the house that we live in as a family with children on an old three-sided farm. There are no direct neighbors, lots of nature and you can make beautiful excursions in all directions by bike or car: Baltic Sea, islands, Stralsund, Greifswald, Rostock, Mecklenburg Lake District, Peene, Tollense...

The apartment was completely renovated in 2017 and offers cozy vacation comfort for everyone. It is important to us that all guests feel comfortable with us and are happy to answer questions and make individual arrangements. Saal is the ideal starting point for exploring the Bodden region. Here you can find numerous activities for nature and sports lovers such as fishing, hiking, cycling and kitesurfing. The nearest Baltic Sea beach can be reached in 20 minutes by car.

Welcome to our small apartment with plenty of coziness for your stay in Rostock. Whether cozy evenings by the fireplace or joint cooking sessions in the large kitchen-living room, our location can offer it to you. In addition, you have your own small balcony facing west and with the nearby S-Bahn you are less than 20 minutes away from the Baltic Sea beach without the hassle of looking for a parking space. The apartment is located right next to a nature reserve. The Bodden (Ribnitz-Damgarten) is about 15 minutes away by car and the Baltic Sea is about 25 minutes. The Vogelpark Marlow is about 12 km away. There are also opportunities to canoe on the Recknitz. A gas station with a small supermarket is about 4 km away. Rostock is 40 km away and Stralsund about 50 km. Four times a week, the bakery van arrives in the morning around 11 AM.
