We built it with much love and fun in a creative, organic way from recycled, found and donated materials. The apartment is located in the outskirts of Breukelen on the river De Vecht, near the Loosdrechtse Plassen, centrally located between Amsterdam and Utrecht in a beautiful, rural area with beautiful countryside on the Vecht. Ideal for cycling, hiking and boat trips, city trips and fishing opportunities.

Please note that the address is Achter Raadhoven 45A, a green garden door, and not Achter Raadhoven 45, where our neighbor lives. De Boomgaard (The Orchard) is in the walled garden of an 18th-century house on the legendary Vecht River, where Dutch country life was born. The b&b is a complete cottage of great charm and comfort. Guests have their own entrance, with free parking a few steps from the door. They have their own entirely private bathroom and kitchen.

Stay in the former eighteenth-century summer house of the Bouwerij at Ridderhofstad Gunterstein aan de Vecht in Breukelen. The summer cottage is located in the yard of a small-scale organic dairy farm, a farm with 70 hectares of land adjacent to the Loosdrecht lakes, where our cows, mostly ancient Dutch blisters, graze in an ancient park-like cultural landscape.
