Monthly Rentals in Markbeech

What a great find! It was perfect for our visit to Hever Castle and the Ashdown forest. Claire was very responsive and provided helpful instructions ahead of time as the SatNav takes you to the wrong place. It was clean and spacious. We had informed Claire ahead of time that we would be bringing our pup with us and it was a lovely touch that she provided a little doggy welcome pack on arrival. There was also a doggy bed and some towels for. A truly fantastic stay!

We were celebrating a birthday with a group of friends over the weekend and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location. The house is huge and charming - even with 14 of us, there was always space for a quiet moment alone. Interesting facts about the house and its history were everywhere, and made the place feel really special. The kitchen was well equipped and cooking for such a number of people wasn’t a problem. There were also plenty of bathrooms. The views from the bedrooms over the rolling countryside were beautiful. We were very lucky with the weather, and relaxing afternoons spent on the lawn in the sunshine, followed by evenings around the fire in the drawing room were fantastic. The host, Hugo, was very friendly and informative and always on hand to help with whatever we needed. Having the nearest train station just down the hill made logistics easy. All the guests had a wonderful time, and we would definitely stay again! Thanks again Hugo for a memorable weekend!

Kathryn & her husband were so friendly and welcoming. Made us feel well at home. Went above and beyond by facilitating our very last minute booking, had great recommendations. The accommodation is one of the highest quality airbnb's I've stayed in where you can tell there has been no expense spared. With underfloor heating in the bathroom, heated mirrors, a nice powerful shower, and one of the comfiest beds I've slept in in a long time. It's a peaceful place with a fantastic view, added bonus was saying hello to the horse in the garden who sticks his head out for a stroke every now and again. The place is right up there with the best I have stayed in, helped by the little extras the hosts have clearly put in there to make your stay more pleasant. It feels like the hosts are truly in it for providing a lovely stay for people coming to visit.
