Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Marina del Rey

Spencer’s place looked like the photos and had everything I needed for a few days of working from home! The kitchen is stocked with whatever you might need to cook a meal. Comfortable furniture and nice shower. The neighborhood is nice and safe to walk around, close to a few different coffee and restaurant spots. Would return!

Lovely all around - can’t wait to come back.

We loved Matthew’s place, it’s super beautiful and comfortable! The bed is honestly one of the best I’ve ever slept in! The building is quiet, and the neighborhood has a lot to do within walking distance. Matthew gave really clear instructions and replied super quickly to everything! We totally recommend the place and would definitely stay again :)

Toni’s place is beautifully done with many amenities already furnished. Nice assortment for your morning coffee (Keurig k-cups) hot chocolate or various teas and sugar or sweeteners. The king size bed is in a very large bedroom and very comfortable. Another day bed is available. Full size kitchen. Bathroom is very large and the shower is spacious with a nice seat. The yard is private and we enjoyed sunning ourselves. We would very pleased with the fine accommodations and would certainly return again if possible.

Shell House was the perfect stay to end our road trip! Courtney has been an ideal host, no question was too much, she was always quick to respond and so accommodating. The house it’s self was so idilic and the aesthetic fit the location. It was close to the beach and Abbott Kinney BL for shops, coffee and restaurants. We would 100% stay here again and recommend to anyone considering a visit to LA to book Shell House.

Jimmy’s place is charming and comfortable. It’s quiet even though it’s on a main street. It’s close to restaurants and a short short walk to the beach is amazing! Jimmy is also quick to accommodate for any questions I had, which was much appreciated. He made sure I successfully checked in. This was a gem! I felt safe, the apartment was perfectly furnished, super clean, the layout was amazing! The best part about this place are all the art work around the building. I’d definitely stay here again. This place is special.

This was a fantastic stay, especially if you are trying to be not so close to the beach. It’s a 10 min drive to the beach or any other attraction in Venice, without the busyness.

This property was our family's favourite in their entire trip to California. The place is exactly what it looks like. It's gorgeous, well-maintained and walking distance from the beach. It has plenty of amenities too. If you plan to cook your own food, you might have to drive a little or door dash your groceries. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a great stay at Peter’s place in Marina del Rey. The home was clean, neat, and exactly as described. Peter was a fantastic host, very responsive and always quick to answer any questions we had. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Very clean space, close to the beach. I would stay again.

The views are wonderful and walking around the marina is pretty. The condo is spotless. Claudia was extremely responsive throughout the rental. I see why she is Superhost. It was winter so we didn’t use the pool, but the pool area and close-by patio area with hot tub are nice. Whole Foods in Venice is great and close by, as is Costco, so we had many meals at ‘home.’ A few cons: there is no bedroom. It is a studio. No fluffy white towels in bathroom as shown. Can’t use the small balcony. Finally - not a reflection on the host at all, but the building has shared water and morning showers were not always hot. Evening showers were fine. A nice place if you want a home base away from downtown in a pretty area.

Place was great! Regine was extremely responsive and thoughtful, even when answering questions that were explained within the instructions in the apartment. Location was amazing and we definitely would stay here again.

Listing was clean and as described. Location was walkable and close to many metro bike stations, where you can rent bikes for pretty cheap. I’d recommend going up north more towards Santa Monica than south towards Venice.

Absolutely thrilled about our stay here. It’s a beautiful condo with the best LA decor. Everything was clean and comfortable. Also- Having a WORKING washing machine in an Airbnb was a game changer! The rooftop views- wow!! How cool to have a pool and hot tub on the roof! There is also no reason to feel unsafe at this location (I saw other reviews with some worries). The security at the front desk was AMAZING. They will not let anyone in that is not supposed to be in the building. They eventually know you by name and greet you. They walked me outside to show me exactly how to get to the convenient parking garage provided by the host. (The parking garage is just as secure!) I could go on and on about our experience- but it will only allow me to write so much! Thank you so much Brandon! We will be back! If you want to stay downtown LA- stay here.

Booked for the rooftop pool view and it did not disappoint. The parking spot was a nice bonus. The unit itself was nice. Comfy bed, big tv, very clean. As others mentioned, it’s very bright; bring an eye mask if you don’t want to be up with the sunrise.

This place was absolutely beautiful with an amazing view of the water! Beach access was also great to have very close by! It was great being able to fall asleep with the sound of the waves! Amazing air bnb to stay at!

Sam and Amber are great hosts and their place is perfect for a few days Santa Monica and LA. It’s very close to the beach, pier and the 3rd street boulevard (shopping and restaurants). Both of them replied quickly and were always helpful. The apartment has everything you need and is well equipped. The free parking in a garage is a big plus! We would come back and can absolutely recommend the two and their apartment!

The stay was very comfortable & homey. Great kitchen & living room space. Big bedroom with washer and dryer. Much bigger in person than it looks on the app. I recommend this play for a quiet getaway & subtle experience. Very quiet and peaceful, plus the hosts were great. Very responsive and proactive, answered any and all questions I had quickly.

Amazing place, with a beautiful kitchen! The building itself was very quiet. Most everything was walkable, or at least a very short uber ride away! Any questions we had we got a response very quickly. A perfect stay for the weekend!
