Monthly Rentals in Marigny, New Orleans

Had a lovely stay at Thomas' home. He was a great host, providing many great recommendations. He was also the most responsive host I've ever had! The home was just as the pictures described, very clean and comfortable. The area was walkable, close to a bus stop and streetcar stop, and very close to some delicious restaurants! I will definitely return if I find myself in NOLA again. Thank you, Thomas!

My partner and I stayed for a month here and wish we could’ve stayed longer. Thom is an excellent host and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at home. The place is beautiful and is right by the Quarter. There’s so much to do just in walking distance. Thom provided us with a packet filled with a ton of helpful information and recommendations. This is the best place to stay, if you are visiting New Orleans! Anytime we come back, we will be booking with Thom first.

My wife and I stayed at Emily's for the second week of JazzFest, an event we've attended at least 9 times in the past. All those other stays were at hotels...some big, some small, some less expensive, some very expensive...so we thought we'd try something different. We thought it might be fun to stay away from the well known neighborhoods (Central Business, Garden, Warehouse Districts, and, of course the Quarter) and knew a little bit about the post-Katrina Marigny neighborhood. It's very different than those other tourist-centric areas...very quiet, peaceful, comfortable, and, well, neighborly. No street traffic or sirens thru the night, no carousing halfwits in the elevators, and not a single reflexologist to be found. There is a well used freight train line about a half-mile away, which didn't bother us in the least. Emily's place was like staying at a well-kept friend's house...very comfortable with interesting personal effects...a very nice place to land at the end of a long day.

Dexter deserves a new "Super Duper Host" category. The apartment is not only beautiful but also very practical. The heat exchangers, for instance, quietly kept us snug despite unusually low temperatures, and I've never been in an AirBnB or hotel room with so many electrical outlets. And he keeps making it better! Also, we enjoyed almost every local restaurant we tried: The Franklin, Sneaky Pickle, Morrow's, Who Dat, and don't miss The Elysian Bar inside old nunnery around the corner.
