Enjoy a relaxing holiday in the countryside – in a UNESCO biosphere reserve, close to the medieval town of Stege, near the water and surrounded by nature. We are a family consisting of a Danish-Japanese couple, two dogs, two cats, sheep, running ducks and chickens. We care about organic farming and sustainability, and we love growing our own vegetables and herbs in the garden. "Farm to table" Breakfast (Japanese or Danish) can be ordered no later than 4 pm the day before. Breakfast is not included in the price and is paid on site with either MobilePay or cash.

The beautiful Faxe Bay and Noret just outside the house set the scene for a wonderful place. The house was voted the winner of the program Denmark's most beautiful cottage on DR1 (2014). The well-appointed 50 m2, with up to 4 m to the ceiling, is perfect for a couple - but is also ideal for a family with 2-3 children. All year round, you can swim in the "Svenskerhullet" and Roneklint and the small fine island Maderne, which is owned by Nysø Castle. 10 km from Præstø. Your family lives in a townhouse from 1854 - a house with atmosphere in Klostergade, which leads up to the Cathedral. You live 300 meters from the square, where there is a cozy cafe. In addition, you can experience market day here on Wednesday and Saturday. The beautiful Maribo Lake is also only a few hundred meters from here. Down by the lake, there is the opportunity to walk or cycle some beautiful trails. There are many shopping opportunities nearby. Maribo can be the starting point for many exciting trips on Lolland.

Tiny house in the orchard

We have spent a long time renovating our little wooden house with upcycled building materials, decorated it with heirlooms and flea finds, and are now ready to have guests visit. The house is located in our orchard, close to nature, forests, good beaches, medieval villages, Fuglsang Art Museum and far from noise - with the exception of our quails and free-range silkie chickens, which may well go crazy once in a while. The house is 24 sqm in size, and also has a loft with enough beds for four people.

Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis. The property is located in a quiet area with a view of the field and a view of the cows. There is a small kitchen with an electric kettle and a mini stove with 1 burner. There is the option of setting up a travel cot if there is one child travelling with you. We have a travel cot available, plus duvets and pillows. If you're going on a trip, Nyk Falster and Fuglesang Art Museum are no more than 4 km away.

The home is a basement apartment in an annex right next to our house. There are duvets, pillows, bed linens, and towels. TV ONLY has Cromecast. The home is close to Maribo Cathedral and Lake Maribo, which is really nice to walk by, with the beautiful green surroundings. It is about 500 meters to the supermarket and pedestrian street with shops. Many eateries. The host couple, Gitte and Kurt, live in the house next door.
