Monthly Rentals in Marblemount

So it was my birthday weekend, and I wanted to get away with my girlfriend. This was an excellent opportunity to get away from it all. The location was magnificent! An excellent opportunity to explore or just to relax!

The owner was very friendly and helpful

The treehouse was awesome. It had a bed (thin mattress) on the top part, and 2 cots provided. There was also a table and 2 chairs provided. It was very cold when we got there, but the provided space heater warmed it up very effectively. The place was very cozy and exactly what I’d hoped for

Initially, we were only planning on staying here one night as part of a North Cascades road trip, but that would have been a huge mistake, as we ended up having a great experience doing a 3 night stay at Rachel’s place. Unlike other Airbnb hosts that give you a million instructions on what to do when you head out, Rachel offers to do your dishes for you - daily! On our last day, when we had an issue with the microwave, she even heated up my wife’s lunch for us. Oh, and she gave us cookies and soup. The surroundings are very peaceful, with views of the Skagit River and Saul Mountain and lots of trees. The Internet and cell access were definitely spotty so this is not a place to expect to work remotely from, but if you are patient with it, it gets the job done (and it was kind of nice to force us to disconnect). Also, be aware that it does not have a full kitchen, but does have a nicely sized mini fridge and a microwave/toaster. We loved it here and would love to come back someday!
