Holiday houses in Mårbacken

We enjoyed this beautiful vacation home right on a beautiful lake. Wonderful in nature, with lots of privacy. Our boys were able to row the boat. The cottage is equipped with all the comforts!! Highly recommended!!

The house was large, with two lovely large bathrooms and good beds/mattresses. The kitchen was well equipped and with a good fireplace. The house is located with a beautiful view of a water and you see an old church at the end of the water. Lovely beautiful, peaceful and harmonious view. Nice hiking opportunities in the woods right on the other side of the road. Very nice little hike through the forest with irr green moss, and a lovely view of water, forest and sky at the top. If we had more time, we should have walked more along possibly around the water and looked at the cute Swedish living rooms and farms around the water. Thank you so much for your great follow-up from the host and for sharing this amazing place with us! We would gladly came again

Very well equiped cottage in a beautiful environment.

This place is called ‘forest escape’ and it is exactly that: a beautiful and modern cabin in the middle of the woods. Handmade by the very friendly owners. There is a large home around 30 meters from the cabin, where you can cook and sit, have a hot shower or watch tv. There is also a really good coffee machine with free coffee the whole day! The cabin is private with a view on the woods, and there is a fire place outside and even an outdoor shower. The interior is so nicely decorated with sheep skin and a fireplace, really fits this place. In the main house is a mini shop so you can even take some handmade wooden souvenirs home. Maria, the host, gave us good tips to go and see in the area and she can be reached when you have questions or wishes. Dogs are welcome but not in the service house, in consideration of other guests. We’ve experienced that dogs aren’t allowed in shops or cafes in Torsby. Källberg Forest Escape is a fantastic place for nature lovers! 🌲

Idyllic, beautiful cabin with lots of space both inside and outside for our big family. There was both clean and a homey feeling with the possibility of borrowing board games when it rained and canoeing and rowboat when the weather was better. Highly recommend.

Not much to say other than it was a great stay in great surroundings and Langlia did not disappoint. We felt at home from the moment we opened the door and sad the moment we left. Staffan was there virtually when we needed him and you can feel that he cares in all the instructions prior, upon arrival and during stay. Pleasure!

The contact with Andreas was hassle-free and Andreas helped us a lot with questions. We felt very welcome before the trip. The house was lovely. The pictures were already nice and it looked very cozy, but in real life we found it even nicer. We were greeted with a warm cottage and many small lights in the house, as it was already dark outside. The setting is a dream if you like it a little more secluded and in nature. We were even proactively provided with wood and a fire pit for outdoors. All around, I wouldn't know a negative point, it was all wonderful. Thank you for everything, dear Andreas and dear Jan!

We had a fantastic weekend in Humletorp. It was quiet, peaceful and just what we wanted. The accommodation was clean and fresh, Grace was a communicative, helpful and professional host, who had also fixed a nice welcome basket upon arrival. Can recommend the place to anyone!

We stayed in the house as a group of 6 boys for a few days to get away from everyday life in Germany. The house has a beautiful location and is very nicely furnished. We used all the offers well, the sauna and the hot tube are really great. If you just want to switch off, you can just sit in the boat and paddle out on the lake. It's very quiet and the views in nature are an absolute pleasure, especially in the evening. Communication with Pelle must also be mentioned positively. Reachable at any time and totally helpful with good tips for offers in the area if you want to experience some action or just keep one (or more) fishing in the water. The only point that is a little negative is that the nearest real shopping is quite a bit away. But that depends on the person, of course. All in all, however, you can really recommend this house. We were very enthusiastic about it.
