The Canaan

Canaan is a villa made out of wood which is over 175 years old built in the 1850s by the Portuguese then taken over by the britishers in the 1900s and then over by the king of the Marari region. The king and his family were wealthy farmers and there is an underground room once used to store grains or to hide the criminals from the law. After the death of the king in the 1980s there was a dispute between the family and the property was seized by the bank and was abandoned for more than 25 years.
