Apartment holiday rentals in Mar Vista, Los Angeles

My daughter and I came in for two nights and we had a great time staying at Brian’s place! We walked to a great restaurant, the Santa Monica pier, rode bikes down to Venice and toward the Venice, canals, and we had a fantastic weekend. Dropping off our belongings before we park the car with key because the place is up on a sloped road, but never an issue. The parking pass was very helpful and I recommend that for anybody that has a car. We enjoy the stay very much and found it cozy and comfortable. There aren’t any suggestions that we have for Brian we felt like it was exactly as described, and he was very helpful.

A lovely place in a peaceful but convenient neighborhood! Exactly as described, very clean and functional (cooked several meals in the little kitchen). Laura was also incredibly responsive and there were extra touches like organizers in the bathroom. Would definitely stay again for another solo or duo visit to Los Angeles.

This a great Airbnb! It is very nice, clean, and has everything you need. It is in a safe location and there are tons of restaurants and coffee spots in the area.

The Airbnb was in a quiet, private street with easy access to the freeway. The outdoor, free street parking was clutch as I was able to park my car overnight right in front of the Airbnb. I never had trouble finding parking.

We enjoyed staying at Venice studio. Location is perfect - Abbot Kinney Blvd, Venice Canal, Venice Beach are in a walking distance. There is a bus stop nearby, so you can reach Downtown LA or Santa Monica, etc. Apartment has everything is needed. Full equipped kitchen, AC, very comfortable bed. Michael was very hospitable and helpful during our stay. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying at the studio. It is a really good place!

I had a wonderful stay at Rochelle’s place! The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Rochelle was an attentive and communicative host, making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood felt safe and welcoming, with great local spots nearby. I appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home that made it feel warm and inviting. I would absolutely recommend staying here and hope to return in the future!

Maggie was an exceptional host. Any thing that we needed or if anything happened she was one phone call away. The location was awesome and perfectly described. We loved our entire experience and we would most definitely stay at this location again.

If you’re visiting the LA area this is the perfect location. Everything is 10-20 minutes within distance. Santa Monica was 35 minutes! My stay was great. It was very clean and I loved the decor. They are also 420 friendly. The only downfall in my opinion is the bed. It was not comfortable for me at all. We had issues with the key fob for the parking gate to open/close but the host responded quickly and brought another and made it right. The area is clean and peaceful. I recommend this stay! You’ll enjoy 😊

Vic’s place was great! The location was perfect, we loved strolling with our 5 month old on the marina promenade. We were able to spend an hour at the pool (smallish, but the pool deck is very swanky, felt like an upscale hotel), and our baby had his first “swim” there! The apartment was the perfect size for us two adults and the baby, and Vic had a pack and play already set up. The living room/kitchen is one large open space, and my sister and her fiance (who live right around the corner, our reason for choosing Vic’s place) and my mom were able to come over and we all fit very comfortably for a casual dinner. We loved taking our son out on the patio and he liked to watch the cars go by. Would absolutely love to stay here again!

Loved staying here! It was very clean and comfortable, well cared for and beautiful furnishings. The bed was comfy and the pillows and linen were fresh and clean, the outdoor area including a pool and gym is amazing. It has a whashing machine and dryer and a well equipped kitchen to prepare meals. I highly recommend and would stay again. The host is very nice and quick to respond. We felt right at home in Tina’s apartment. It was in a very safe area, was close to everything, and the hot tub was great! The bed was slightly uncomfortable but overall very happy with our stay.

Had a great solo stay at Vidal’s spot! The location was perfect—walkable, close to the beach, and easy to settle into. The place was clean, peaceful, and just like the photos. Vidal was super friendly and quick to respond, which made the whole experience smooth. Just a couple small things to keep in mind—it’s more of a studio layout with a sectioned-off bedroom space (which still worked well for me), and the bed was a bit softer than I prefer. Still, nothing that took away from a really solid stay. Would definitely come back!

Maria’s home was fantastic. Location was perfect. The apartment was incredibly clean and equipped with everything you could need. The views were amazing! Check in was straightforward, we followed the instructions on the booking. Needed to make a brief call for Maria to verify but she picked up on the first ring. Also had a small issue with parking (not Maria’s fault at all!) and she was very responsive and dealt with it very quickly. All in all, our stay was wonderful. Thank you Maria!

the stay was very cozy and comfortable for especially for a solo trip but also nice for couples. the bed was extremely comfortable. and candles in the room. the building itself was easy to find but was a little confused with parking and getting up. but the host communicated very quickly any time i reached out. the only thing i didnt like was the view from the balcony. you only get to see neighbors and i was expecting to see the pool. overall i would book this stay again as it is worth the price

Mehry is a great host and the place is very clean. The location and easy street parking was exactly what I was looking for. It’s a 17 minute walk to the restaurants on Sawtelle and 5 minutes to walk to Starbucks. Nice, safe neighborhood and great value.

I really enjoyed my stay, almost felt like my actual home. Monet was an awesome host! she was very communicative and responded to all of my questions quickly. the place overall was nice, clean & cozy. think my only complaint was that she said smoking was allowed on the balcony, even had an astray out there for convenience however, there was a neighbor above who does not like smoke and yells to stop smoking. So just be prepared to deal with that or do the long walk outside each time you want a cigarette. other than that, awesome spot, convenient location, great experience would book again!

Beautiful place, exact as pictures. Parking is a bit of trouble but she gives you exact instructions of how to get inside.

Clean, tidy and well-maintained apartment with amazing skyline views, exactly as described! Perfect location on a relatively safe street in dt. Keys pickup process was a bit confusing but manageable. Highly recommended!

The apartment was clean and had a terrific view. We loved the neighborhood and walked by the ocean everyday.

Johnny's place was great, just like the pics. The rooftop pool was awesome and provided great sunset views. Johnny was very responsive, and would recommend his place to stay.
