The view from front is spectacular and the rear window view is not bad either! Glenfinnan is the place to be for Harry Potter fans as the Glenfinnan Viaduct (The Harry Potter Bridge) and the Jacobite Steam Train (Hogwarts Express) are both located here. Solas is set off the main road in a private and secluded area. It is situated in the south of Skye on the Sleat peninsula. The cottage is situated 5-10mts north of the ferry terminal at Armadale. It is also about 20mts from the bridge meaning it is easy to explore the north of Scotland as well as Skye itself. Solas is a short drive to shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes and a 5minute walk to the Torabhaig Distillery. Past the distillery is a lovely walk down to Knock Castle and the beach.

There is a take-away and bike hire shop in the village of Inverlochy. Supermarkets M&S,Aldi are only a short walk from the house .
