Holiday rentals with a patio in Malia

Antonia’s apartment was so lovely & we had the best holiday. The view of the sea is beautiful & we were in walking distance of everything which was great! It was also easy to get the bus to other areas in Crete, and a cheaper alternative to renting a car! The pools are really close by too, which were lovely and had a choice of 4 pools to sit by. When we arrived, Caterina greeted us for check in, sent some fab suggestions for restaurants and attractions, and kept in communication with us throughout our stay whenever we had questions, very lovely and super helpful! Antonia is a really lovely host - quick responses, very friendly, and has a beautiful, clean and spacious apartment - exactly like the pictures! Thank you for being a fabulous host.

It has been mentioned here many times, but it simply has to be mentioned. The view is truly breathtaking, it feels like a holiday and relaxation. The apartment was very clean, there were lots of small snacks and nice touches like fresh salad or homemade eggs. The baby equipment for our son was great, with sweet bee bed linen, nothing was missing. Thank you very much, we had a wonderful holiday and felt very comfortable.

We were very satisfied with the apartment. The landlords were very welcoming. We were even personally greeted at 2:00 in the morning. The apartment was very clean and as described. The pool was really great and what was also great: The landlords take very good care of the pool. The day after our arrival, we had heavy Sahara rain and there was red dust / sand everywhere. The pool was also dirty and the landlord really worked all day to get the pool clean again. So that we could also use the pool 2x before we moved to the west of Crete. The apartment has good fly screens, so no insects can enter the apartment, except through the apartment door. :D There was only one disadvantage to the apartment. She's really perceptive. So noises are relatively loud in the apartment. The four of us slept in the apartment, which was a little disruptive. Earplugs were a good solution. :D

A very nice apartment with everything you need. Right on the beach. View from the balcony is simply fantastic, we enjoyed having breakfast there every morning. The car could be parked easily on the street. Would book the apartment again at any time without ifs and buts.

We (2 adults, 2 children) had a very relaxing time in Sonia's apartment. The surf of the sea accompanied us daily, the October sun allowed us to have breakfast outside daily. It was very special to be able to watch the sunrise in the morning directly on the stairs to the sea! The nearby sandy beach is within walking distance and the sea is wonderful for swimming and even snorkeling. The apartment is very lovingly and tastefully decorated. The layout of the rooms and size of the apartment were perfect for us. We felt very comfortable. Thanks for your hospitality, Sonia! :)

We enjoyed a fantastic four days in Aris’ place, the views of the plateau and mountains are just beautiful! We felt right at home, and it was lovely to have Aris and his wife physically there at check in, a rarity these days! The images really don’t do this place justice, it is up some winding roads but we were prepared for that having visited the plateau in 2012. We can’t recommend staying here more, we really wish we’d have booked a longer stay! Aris had a fantastic hire car recommendation too, which was also great, and we had some amazing recommendations from them too. Thank you very much Aris!

We had a great stay at this apartment near Heraklion. It was very clean, quiet, and perfectly located—just a short walk to the intercity bus station for day trips to places like Malia, Hersonissos, Agios Nikolaos, Rethymno, and Chania. The local bus station is also nearby, with easy access to beaches and Knossos Palace. The owner was very welcoming and left us local raki and fresh fruit on arrival. Highly recommended!

We loved our 5 night stay here. Maria is a kind and helpful host who booked taxis for us and responded quickly to any questions we had. The apartment is very comfortable and nicely furnished with a wonderful view of Spinalonga and the sea as other guests have described. We really appreciated Maria's thoughtfulness in providing milk, fruit, snacks, and wine. The kitchen is also well stocked with condiments and tea and coffee. It is a 10 -15 minute walk down the hill to the beach and gorgeous turquoise blue water for swimming (take reef shoes or thongs for the smooth stone beach though). Of course that also means a walk back up the hill with no shade... Plaka is a delightful, small village with great restaurants overlooking the water. Maria's place is such a lovely place to relax and enjoy the wonderful view. You won't be disappointed.

My stay at the beach house in Pachia Ammos felt like stepping into a quiet dream. The house was just as shown in the pictures — and somehow even more beautiful, embraced by the serene rhythm of the sea and the gentle charm of a peaceful neighborhood. Each morning, I woke to the whisper of waves and a view so breathtaking it felt like time stood still. The warmth of the locals made the experience even richer, and our host Marilou was the soul of it all — gracious, generous, and sincerely kind. I left a part of my heart by the shore, and I know I’ll return someday

We stayed as a family of six, four adults and two children (8 and 5). The set up was really comfortable and worked perfectly for us. The outdoor pool area is great and our two kids loved it - especially as there were lots of inflatables left to play with. We arrived at 3am. Xristos offered to meet us, but when we suggested with young children we'd prefer just to get in and get to bed, then meet up after it was no problem at all. We had instructions to call when we arrived, and the gate was opened for us. We were blown away by how well supplied the house was. Xristos was in touch in the week before to check if we needed anything in particular and couldn't have been more helpful in making sure we had everything we needed to start our holiday. Then we had a delivery of local fruit and wild artichokes as they were in season. Amazing. There was a dust storm before we arrived. Xristos promptly sorted this too. A great and relaxed place to stay, with an unbelievably good host. Thanks!

The house and the landlord Gorgios are great and highly recommended. The house is quiet, very clean, has a great garden and everything for a relaxing holiday. Gorgios had even provided a basic supply of food and drink for the first evening and brought us rolls and strawberries over a short visit. Also, Gorgios was very flexible - thank you for everything. We will be back.

We can only agree with the many positive reviews. We had a great time in the beautiful mountain village – it was a special experience. Every morning we had breakfast on the roof terrace and enjoyed the tranquility. At first we thought the sea would be missing, but that wasn't the case at all. We really came to rest – walks in the area were enough for that. Actually, we planned to do more, but we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere so much that we took it easy. Nevertheless, we were traveling by car and made some nice excursions, including to the coast, where we discovered great restaurants. A vacation that will stay with us in very good memory. Great location overlooking the harbour. Vibrant esplanade with outdoor seating area to enjoy the ambiance. The apartment was in close proximity to public parking, shops and restaurants- 2-3 minutes walk. Spacious 2 storey apartment with a nice master bedroom suite upstairs and balcony and fully functional kitchen and facilities and second bedroom on the ground floor.

We loved this home. The huge terrace and view are so amazing. We spent lots of time on the nice patio furniture outside enjoying it. We also loved the pool. You can walk to a few spots in the area for dinner and we really enjoyed the patio bar at the hotel next door. Fun spot. Across the street was Pegasus Dive and boat rental. It was so nice to walk there and rent a small boat to see the town from the water. The town is really nice and the perfect size place to explore. We spent a week here and another week in Chania area. Thanks for sharing your home. I would highly recommend it

This is such a great place to stay in AN. Eleftheria met us on arrival and made us feel like family. Their property is pristine and with great lounge, kitchen and dining overlooking the marina. In 5 mins walk you are wherever you want to get to in the local area. There is a sheltered beach within walking distance. A gorgeous town and well appointed place to stay. Absolutely recommend

A very good room in a quiet spot at the edge of Hersonissos, clean and equipped for every need. The various little touches make it stand out. Checking in and out is easy and convenient. Our Vangelis was there for every service, kind and pleasant. The treats made us feel welcome and started our stay pleasantly. We would book this room again and recommend it.

I'm joining all the previous comments: the apartment is spacious, clean, and comfortable in all aspects (good bedding, big shower, enough equipment in the kitchen, good WiFi, etc ), and Nikos' parents were lovely people who made me feel.welcome. The apartment is very central, and super close to a very nice little beach. It can be a bit noisy during the day because you're in the city center, with narrow and steep streets, but at night it was dead quiet. Parking can be challenging for the same reasons, but I've always found a spot eventually.

Very nice accommodation with its large balcony. It's nice to be welcomed and to have breakfast available. Very good location to visit most of the must-see places. I recommend it!

Excellent location, very clean and large apartment Comfortable beds, good quality air conditioning that is adjustable in each rooms Provided a travel cot and high chair for our baby which was very helpful Few steps up into the apartment, but then there is a lift to get luggage up Beautiful view, unfortunately the balcony was out of action for our stay as they were replacing the railing with a glass one - this did make it a challenge to dry clothes, but hopefully wont be an issue for others. Kitchen is pretty sparsely equipped, though we didn't need to do much cooking. Would have been good to have some cupboard essentials provided that you don't want to have to buy like condiments, coffee, oil, salt and pepper etc.

I loved my stay, Georgia and her husband are the nicest of hosts and I felt like at home. The location is the best in Heraklion. 10 minutes walk to city center, less to nearby grocery stores and lots of restaurants nearby, several quite posh. I could see the sea from the roof top and the hot tub was excellent. 10/10 experience.
