Our place has two bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a double Kingsize bed. Bedroom 2 has three single beds. The bed in the loft is 120 cm wide. You will find a shower room with shower, washing machine, dryer and a sink. The toilet is in a separate room where you will also find a hand basin and the hot water heater for the cabin. The Sauna is in the main hallway just outside the shower room. The hallway leads down three steps to the dining/living room/kitchen with a doorway out to the terrace area. Outside you have a terrace overlooking the lake. You will also find the outside shower and several places around the cabin to sit depending on where the sun is and the time of day. The Jacuzzi is beside the parking places for the cabin facing towards the mountain views and the lake.

Cabin in natural surroundings by the waterfront

Older cabin with simple furnishings and power supply via solar panel. Mobile phone charging via USB socket. There is a wood-burning fireplace, an outdoor barbecue (you must bring your own lighter and charcoal), a refrigerator, and a gas stove/cooking facilities. There are plates, bowls, glasses and cutlery. There are also frying pans and pots. There is no water supply, so we fill a water bottle with clean drinking water, which can be used for both cooking and washing dishes. Magical place at the lake with a 8000 m2 garden and 120 m beach/shoreline. Perfect for relaxing, boating and fishing. At the lake there is a pavillion with a remarkable view where you can enjoy the sunset. A boat and canoe are available for free. It's a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes nearby. In 2020 the bathroom and hall was totally refurbished, and a fiberoptic cable was installed with a fast wifi-connection.

Benedikte's house on architect-designed Svindland farm

Benedikte House is located about ten minutes drive from Egersund city center and about five minutes from E39. We have tried to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one who lived in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the edge of the yard at Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and quiet. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock couple that walk freely. The house is very modern and well equipped.

Great family apartment on the ground floor with stunning view to Lysefjord. You can't get any closer to the fjord. The apartment has a double terrace door onto the fjord. You get a feeling of being "at sea" when you enter the apartment. Large bedroom with double bed, with the possibility to close down two extra beds if there are many of you who will share the apartment. The second bedroom has a family bunk with room for two downstairs and one person upstairs.
