Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes, which is located in Farsund municipality. Skipperhuset was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we work to make the house as authentic as possible, including by wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper's house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is located wall to wall with the brewery, which has a renovated bakery oven.

Recharge your batteries at this unique and tranquil accommodation. You live in the middle of nature with forests, birdsong and a botanical diversity. From the water tap, you can drink spring water that has a good and fresh taste. You can enjoy a large garden and pick your own salad and herbs for breakfast. The place has several outdoor seating areas such as a barbecue area, fireplace and pergola. On the plot you can see a saw and a mill house from the 19th century powered by hydropower. 1 km from the apartment is freshwater with canoe, fishing, swimming area and gapahuk.

Idyllic spot on inland water

Developed/renovated cottage in a lovely spot in the south of Norway. Must row over a small water to get to the cabin, or walk through the forest (700 meters). Here you can swim, fish trout in the water or be lucky to see the osprey soaring over the water. Are eagle's nest in the area. Simply a magical place on the waterfront. The sleeping areas have windows so you can see out in nature when you are in bed. Warranty for relaxation! We are thinking about renting to housekeepers a few weekends a year and a few weeks in the summer.

We rent out our funkish house in Viga, in Spind. The house was built in 2018, and has high standards. On the first floor there is a hallway, laundry room, TV room with sofa bed, bathroom, and 3 bedrooms all furnished with 2 single beds. On the second floor there is a large kitchen, living room, dining table, TV area, bedroom with double bed, and large bathroom attached to this bedroom. Outside, a large terrace with a lot of living space, different seating areas, jacuzzi and fire pit, and nice views!

Get away from it all and stay under the stars. A unique small one-bedroom cabin with room for 3 people. Simple kitchen with all the equipment to be able to cook food. Chef top connected to gas. Access to water in water cans. The outdoor space is approximately 15 meters from the cabin. You just have to use wood during your stay. Tenants will get directions to the cabin. It is a 10 minute walk from the parking lot to the cottage.

Row-boat, kayak, fishing -gear available. Nice hiking area.
