On the Romney Marsh,close to Camber sands, Dungeness, Rye. A beautiful light and airy rural cottage in the grounds of a Georgian Manor house on the picturesque Romney Marsh. Two bedrooms, one king, one double with a sofa bed in the living area. High ceilings throughout with underfloor heating to keep it warm and cozy! Fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven, fridge with small freezer. TV, wifi, and DVD player. Patio with seating area, garden. Ample parking. Great location, fantastic for walks, bike rides on the marshes. Only a 5 minute drive to the the beaches - the vast stretch of Camber sands, with it's sand dunes renowned for its outstanding natural beauty, with over half a mile to the water's edge at low tide, great for walks, many watersports or just sunbathing, or Dungeness (Britian's only desert) where the film director Derek Jarman made his famous garden. The historic medieval town of Rye (almost suspended in time) is a 20 minute drive and well worth a visit. We are also a 30 minute drive to the Eurostar at Ashford international station. (there is also the fast train into st Pancras taking 35 mins) The Eurotunnel terminal at Folkestone is also a 30 minute drive. Children are welcome, please let us know if you require a high chair or cot. Great for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). I'll be available to offer guests help throughout their stay From the cottage's quiet lane, it's a short walk to the village of Lydd where local shops and stores give an authentic taste of British life. Nearby, there are numerous beaches, the Dungeness National Nature Reserve and the historic town of Rye. Car is the best option, there is a bus stop nearby and train stations at Rye or Ashford.

Lovely Beach House at Greatstone, Dungeness, Kent

This beautiful beach house sits right by the sea with direct access to the enormous sandy beach and dunes. A great space to spread and out and relax with family and friends, it is stylishly furnished and decorated, and well equipped with everything you need! It is our family holiday house, so is comfortable and welcoming - a perfect spot for anyone who wants to getaway in a really special home from home! We can often be flexible on check-in and out times to make the most of your time by the sea!

Escape to the Sea

Gorgeous, spacious, south-facing flat with stunning sea views, original features, and high ceilings. The sunrises/sets and moon reflections are breathtaking! In between St Leonards on Sea and Hastings, and 30 seconds to the beach! The bedroom has a king size bed and the living room a double sofabed. Bedding is cotton/linen washed with non toxic products. Flat is on the 3rd floor but not that many stairs and as such, sea views far from the madding crowd! There is free parking nearby

Peaceful Idyllic Stable on Romney Marsh near Rye

Homely interior with a calm feel. Surrounded by fields and sheep. Ideal for families. The main bedroom on the ground floor has a double bed. The room upstairs has two singles which can also be a double, ideal for children and young adults. The door to this room is an old French slatted shutter. There is a shower room with a loo on the ground floor. The kitchen, dining and living area is on the ground floor with a TV and warming gas fire. There is a double sofa bed in the living area.

Dog friendly. Close to many famous houses and gardens ,Sissinghurst Castle, Great Dixter, Chartwell, Batemans and Scotney Castle. The Spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells is a 20 minute drive away. Wadhurst our nearest village has 2 small supermarkets, great butcher, deli, 2 pubs and takeaways.

Lovely garden suite (with breakfast included)

Come and stay in this garden paradise on the edge of a pretty East Sussex village, with fantastic food (breakfast included) and lovely scenery. Sleeps 2-4. We're in the same village as Great Dixter, and 20 mins from Sissinghurst, Pashley Manor and Batemans. It's 15 mins to the hilltop town of Rye, and 20 mins to Camber Sands and Winchelsea beaches too - both wonderful places for a stroll, especially as the sun is setting. There are fabulous walks right from our door, too.
