Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Luzerne County

Beautiful home , peaceful area. My family loves every moment from making s’mores with the kids in the fire pit, cooking burgers on the grill watching movies by the fire place we felt right at home . Amy was very friendly and responsive to all the questions we had. I definitely give our stay at 10/10.

This home was the perfect stay for a long weekend trip. It was in a very central area to all the surrounding places I was hoping to visit. The neighborhood was quiet and had cute wildlife to view such as deer and abundant bird species. The home itself was the right size for my pup Grady, my mom (who got to explore Jim Thorpe area for the first time!!) and myself. It was clean and felt cozy. We had a great stay! Plenty of parking and good location. Enjoyed the hot tub and air hockey table. Easy drive to Jim Thorpe and whitewater rafting.

Location, Location, Location. Large spacious house, private setting, big yard, firepit (including wood) lots of games, tvs, etc., and right beside Ricketts Glen State Park. Great value, fantastic host, and exactly as advertised... perfect for our Memorial Day Weekend Family Getaway! Loved it! Thank you!!

We enjoyed our stay, it was so relaxing! Everything was very accommodating and we barely needed to bring certain essentials! We loved seeing wildlife around us such as deer and turkey. Would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants to stay here. We loved it!

Stayed here for a couple days and everything was exactly as advertised. Nice and comfortable living areas. Enough room for all five of us and a beautiful yard with a fire pit and patio area

It’s a neat little and private space. Our boys got the living room downstairs while my wife and I were upstairs. Even though there are neighbors, we didn’t even notice them during the holiday weekend.

One of our best experiences with Airbnb. We love to try different places with extra charm, and this place didn’t disappoint! Jim and Dee went above and beyond thinking of all the little Things when they put together this little zen gem. Tons of detail, lots of extra touches, snacks, wine, the famous muffins! Jim gave us a rundown on the history of the pizza capital and surrounding areas. Communication was great, recommendations were spot on for our pizza hopping adventure. We enjoyed walking the cemetery too down the road. We highly recommend this place and would love to stay again if we are back in the area!

Esther’s place was clean and beautiful. We felt right at home. In fact several years ago we lived in the same building as this apartment so we knew how perfect the location would be for our stay in Scranton. It is street parking, but there are always plenty of parking spots close by. Esther provided plenty of towels and the kitchen is stocked nicely. The living room is super comfy and the gas fire place a nIce treat on those cold mornings. If are are visiting Scranton, please do not hesitate to book this place. Esther will take good care of you!

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this Airbnb! The place was cozy, spotless, and beautifully decorated, just like the photos showed. The host was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive to all our needs, making us feel right at home. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions and amenities. We truly appreciated the thoughtful touches and comfortable amenities that made our stay so enjoyable. We just needed a place to stay on our way home, and so I chose this little place because it was cheaper than the big brand hotels and allowed our dog. So glad we did! Comfy beds and furniture, and honestly, the pictures do not do this home justice! The parking was a little confusing, but easily accessible once we figured that out. It was a little warm upon arrival but the window units quickly made it comfortable and the overhead chandeliers doubled as ceiling fans and that helped. We walked our dog in the neighborhood and felt completely comfortable. Also, a huge bonus, we tried the little coffee shop literally across the street -- Mansour's Market -- and loved it. Our waitress was friendly and attentive; their baked goods looked amazing; and our breakfast was delicious. I had the breakfast sandwich on a hard roll with Cooper cheese and bacon and am still thinking about it. Don't hesitate to stay here. Cute place!

Stephanie was such a great host, our stay so exceeded our expectations. She has thought of so many things guests might need, from toiletries, to s’mores and wet shoes! The apartment is clean and bright and well appointed with a beautiful kitchen a stunning outdoor area, and everything you need. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, a late night fire pit cooked dinner, and relaxing in the wonderful hot tub. Stephanie sent us messages every morning of things to do in the area that matched the weather and was very accommodating with check out time to allow us to finally enjoy some sunshine. Despite the disappointing weather, we had the best time, and have already booked another stay! Thank you, Stephanie!

A Perfect Stay! Deane’s apartment was absolutely perfect. It was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly cozy. The beds were very comfortable, and she added such thoughtful touches, like snacks, bottled water, and even chocolates on each bed, just like in a hotel. The space is quiet, welcoming, and located in a clean, peaceful area with a few restaurants nearby. The apartment had everything we could possibly need, they really thought of every detail. One thing to note (not a problem for us, but worth mentioning): you do have to go up two full flights of stairs to access the apartment, which might be a consideration for some. I would absolutely stay here again!
