BehrenSCHLAF vacation home Stay in the thatched farmhouse and discover nature and the countryside well rested. Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. You will stay in our cozy apartment with a terrace to the south side and views of our garden. Our small, old construction trailer offers simple and cozy accommodation for anyone looking for an overnight stay on a bike tour between Ratzeburg, Schaalsee and Schwerin or wanting to escape the luxurious and fast-paced life of the city for a while. When was the last time you watched the swallow children during their flying lessons or listened to the humming of the bumble bees in the grass? You can enjoy the picturesque sunset spectacle with us in the front row. Live simply - makes you happy!

Unser unscheinbares, sehr ruhiges Blockhaus liegt inmitten einer Wohnsiedlung und lädt für Kurzurlaube oder längere Aufenthalte ein. Urlaub im Blockhaus heißt, in einem einzigartigen Raumklima zu wohnen. Der Kaminofen wärmt bei Bedarf angenehm gemütlich. Das Grundstück ist im Sommer "blickdicht" bewachsen. In nur 8 Autominuten gelangt ihr zu einem idyllischem Badesee, in ca. 15 Minuten nach Schwerin. Wer Ruhe und Ausflugsmögklichkeiten mit dem Fahrrad oder Auto möchte ist hier richtig!

From the apartment to the nearest swimming facility in Lake Schwerin, it takes 3 minutes on foot... to the castle you can reach on a beautiful shore path in 20 minutes and the city center is not much further. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful... there is a small forest within a 3-minute walk. The apartment is cozy and spacious (120 square meters)... there is also a second toilet (not pictured).You have a terrace and can barbecue in the garden. Heating/hot water are guaranteed.

Country house near the Schaalsee

The house is in a very quiet location in the biosphere reserve Schaalsee. It is 10km to Lake Schaalsee, 5km to Lake Neuenkirchen, 50km to the Baltic Sea (dust-free!!!). From the house can be started directly to bike tours, on adjacent hiking trails. There is also a swimming pond on the very natural property. The house is very bright and very quiet. I also paint there and write and so there is also a large easel available. Pets have a generous spout.
