Cabin holiday rentals in Lustrafjorden

We loved our time at the cabin had a lovely relaxing time and the hottub was a highlight! We had no problems and the house was very well equipped especially for anyone staying longer. We loved the waffle machine too.

Cozy and nice cabin in a top location close to the ski lift. We were four adults and five children and it went just fine. Incredibly lovely to sit out in the jacuzzi after a long day skiing. Cozy and flexible host who was easy to reach, gave great instructions and had everything in order. We had a great weekend and would definitely recommend traveling here.

What an amazing location. The views from both inside and outside were stunning. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed apart. It was very quiet but with easy access to the main road. Would happily recommend to anyone.

We spent an unforgettable time in the cottage in Tyinkrysset – this place exceeded our expectations! The cottage was cozy, perfectly equipped and perfectly suited to the mountain climate. The silence, fresh air and beautiful views meant that we could really relax and recharge our batteries. The location is sensational – in the heart of the mountains, with direct access to hiking trails and ski slopes. Every day we could choose from a variety of activities: hiking, cycling, walking along the lake or simply relaxing on the terrace with a cup of coffee and a view of the peaks. The house was a bit hard to find because the exact address was not provided. In summer you can probably recognize the house very well, but in winter it is very difficult to find the house. The roads are cleared in winter, but not regularly. A car with all-wheel drive and winter tires is very important. The house is in a very nice and quiet location. However, it is very remote and the road to the village is one-lane and full of snow and ice, so be careful. The decor was very cozy. There is a fireplace for heating and underfloor heating. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped. The bathroom is also very good. For the washing machine, however, you need help from the host, as it is a very old model and difficult to use. The house was very clean and towels were available. The garbage cans are not located in front of the house, but at the exit to the street.

Staying right on a fjord was amazing. The views from the house were spectacular. Ferries available to any island in area. I wish I had stayed for a month!

This property was by FAR the most amazing Airbnb I have ever stayed at! The views were breath taking. The house had every single thing you need and more. The host went out of his way to make sure we had the best experience possible. If you are seeing this post you MUST take this opportunity to stay here. We rented the boat for a very reasonable price and it enhanced our experience ten fold. Host is flexible and extremely responsive at all times of the day. Loved every second we had here and if I ever come back to Norway I will definitely be staying here again.

Cosy cabin with a good view.

The cabin is wonderful, we felt right at home. Super cozy and well thought through. The perfect escape from the stressful life - peaceful and quiet, beautiful hikes right outside the door. Torstein is am exceptional host, friendly, communicative, super helpful and kind. One of our favorite stays ever, would come back anytime.

Advantageously, the cabin can be reached by four-wheel drive CAR in winter, since winter service always only gets active on Friday noon.

By far the best airbnb I have ever Stayed in. ‏The host was exceptional meet, greet and gave brief about everything. ‏The home is satiated on the lake, got all what you need. The kichen is fully equipped. The bathroom got underfloor heating. The living room has an amzing view of the mountains and the lake. ‏We loved grilling outside peaceful and wonderful views.

The cabin Grubla is fantastically beautiful in Bøverdalen, by the lake between the mountains. Here we stayed a few days and had amazing summit tours nearby. The cabin is very cozy with great amenities and a nice fire. The possibility of sitting outside, or lying in the hammock is great.

Our stay at Kine's cozy cabin was great! We immediately felt at home. The boat trip is a little further than 60m but still no problem at all and a great experience! We lacked nothing and Kine was always easily accessible. Especially in good weather, the cabin is highly recommended!

Accommodation in a unique location with fantastic views of mountains and fjord

It was overall great it was a beautifull view, the communication was good. There is a hike from the house going up the mountain.

Despite the changeable and cool weather, we had four wonderful days at this accommodation. The view of the fjord and the landscape is stunning in almost any weather. The cabin offers every comfort, the underfloor heating is pleasant, and the peace and quiet are wonderful. And you can admire a parade of cruise ships sailing to Flam and back. Communication with our hosts was uncomplicated, quick, and friendly. Balestrand is an ideal starting point for numerous activities, such as a catamaran trip to Flam. Shopping facilities, bike rentals, and an electric car charging station are all available. This house is highly recommended for people who value peace, comfort, and friendly hosts. One more thing seems important to me: you can't drive directly to the house; the short path leads across a sloping meadow. My wife has a slight walking disability, so it worked. For people with more severe mobility restrictions, this may be difficult.

I can't say enough about this wonderful place! The pictures are lovely, but pictures just can't capture how beautiful this place is. This was our first trip to Norway and staying in this place was a real highlight. While in Balestrand, we also rented bikes (highly recommended). Terrific host; very communicative and helpful!
