Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Luster Municipality

Four of us stayed at this lovely house during our vacation in Norway. We chose Sogndal because it was a nice midpoint for several places we wanted to visit (Flam, Laerdal, Boyabreen and Loen). The area is unbelievably gorgeous and Sogndal is a nice town that has all the amenities you might want (restaurants, gas, groceries, etc.) vs. some of the smaller towns in the area. Eirik's house was lovely. The best part was the gorgeous view. The house is well-maintained, clean, and cozy. Eirik was always very responsive to any questions I had both before and during our stay. I would definitely recommend this property!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy house on a small apple farm! The place was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The view of the orchard and surrounding fjords was stunning, and the location was perfectly secluded, offering a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

We loved the house and the surroundings. House is historic, very clean and has all you need for modern life with kids. We felt really safe there. Per Wilhelm was super quick to answer and communicated with me before our trip. Ingunn showed us the place and was very nice and helpful. We recommend this house and will definitely come back :)

Beautiful stay in a typical Norwegian house, built by the host, with a beautiful view of the fjord. The host was very helpful and friendly, he allowed us to stay in the largest house at the same price perino. Very cozy house and in the morning the host gave us homemade bread. My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Atle’s cabin for our honeymoon! It’s even more beautiful in person and the proximity to the national park can’t be beat. The home has every modern amenity you need while maintaining rustic charm. Thank you for having us and we hope to be back someday!

We can only agree with the reviews of the others: Arne Haus is lovingly renovated, has a great location, the way to the house is breathtaking and we had a wonderful time in the mountains and in the garden in the sun on the bench overlooking the mountain. It was just way too short. And the single-lane path is so beautiful that it is worth the 5 partly dark tunnels that you have to drive through. We would love to come back. It's also great that there's a small grocery store in the village.

A wonderful place for a ski trip. Close to the ski lift. A very cozy place. During my stay there was a big frost, and the apartment was very warm. I will definitely visit this place again.

This is a perfect location to have as a base as you travel through the Fjords. We had a car making it easy to get around. Nearest town is 10 mins and kitchen had everything you needed to make light meals. Sigrid was kind and we enjoyed our stay.

A fantastic property, exactly as described, with all needs taken care of. All major attractions within a 30 minute drivable distance and a grocery store that sells practically everything literally at your doorstep We really should have planned to stay for longer than 2 days.

Peder’s guesthouse is cozy and peaceful. The views of the fjord are amazing. The kitchen was well stocked and there were detailed instructions for how to use everything. It makes amazing use of such a small space! We couldn’t have asked for a better spot to stay along our road trip.

This is a wonderful apartment with stunning views of the mountains and fjord. The location is excellent, right in town, close to amenities, yet very quiet. Kai was promptly responsive when we had a few questions and gave clear instructions. This was definitely one of our favorite places in the world to stay!

Geir's apartment was the best we've had on our trip through Norway. The view of Kaupanger is simply fantastic. We were greeted directly with a rainbow😉. The apartment is relatively large, very tasteful and everything has really been thought of. In addition, it makes a very new impression in every respect. The folder that Geir had laid out contained all the important information. Unfortunately, we were unable to make the most of the excursion tips, as the weather was not so good and we were only there for 2 days. Therefore, we would love to come back again and can definitely recommend the apartment.

We stayed for one night at Natalie’s place as 3 adults during our roadtrip in Norway. We felt like home at Natalie’s apartment and we fell in love with the neighborhood and its stunning views. Natalie is a great host and she was very communicative and friendly throughout the rental duration. Strongly recommended!

Wow, what a beautiful apartment with stunning views of the surrounding area. Stylish, spotless but also warm and welcoming. Definitely our most luxurious accommodation on a long road trip and a fabulous place to unwind and relax. Anne Marte was incredibly helpful and responsive when we had initial questions, and offered great recommendations for where to eat in town. Would definitely recommend a visit to anyone travelling through that part of Norway. Thank you for having us, we hope we can come back soon!

Great place to stay. Easily accessible to Sogndal by around a 10 to 15 minute drive!

Our thanks to Rune for a very comfortable stay - sadly just an overnight stop but it would be a great place to base yourself if you were to explore the area.

Awesome location!! We stayed here to visit Loen and Briksdalsbreen. The weather was a bit off so we had to stay inside for the most part, so we couldn't enjoy the outer amenities. The house was very well, renovated, very cozy and well furnished. We enjoyed our stay besides the weather.
