Holiday rentals with a patio in Luray

Five stars! This airbnb was home away from home. When we first got there I wandered from room to room admiring all the decor. It’s even cuter in real life! We were in town for a wedding and decided to make a trip of it and that is how we landed in Staunton. There’s a lot of stuff to do in the area. I would highly recommend The Queen City Hideaway!

Glenn is a great host. Friendly, helpful, flexible. Wonderful lawn that goes down to the river. Canoe and kayaks available. Fire pit with lots of free wood. Well equipped kitchen. Very quiet. We’d go back anytime.

We were attending a wedding in Shenandoah caverns and this place was absolutely perfect for me, my husband, and our 3-year old. Loved that the day bed was out in the living room so we could keep the lights on in the bedroom after she went to sleep. The place was full of helpful and thoughtful amenities like snacks and complimentary toiletries in case you forgot something. So glad we chose Andrea’s place as our accommodations for the wedding!

Really good one night’s stay at Luray. Thank you for sharing the house with us. But here’s some things could improve: 1. The air con on second floor are not enough, a bit hot at night, have to leave the fan on all night long; 2. We only have 3 bath towels in the closet, a bit short for large groups of people to stay; 3. Don’t have a dishwasher in the house, it will be better to have one even though we could wash plates by hand and let it dry on the shelf; Overall, Lindsey is a really good host, and thanks again for sharing this house with us. We will back in the future!

We loved the space, everything was clean and in order. While I did not want for a thing, I happen to be an extremely tall woman (6'2") and I did hit my head on more than one occasion. That being said, if you are very tall, know that there are some low ceiling areas. Other than that, Susan provided a wonderful place to enjoy several days, even though they were rainy :(

Loved this stay it was great for my family and I! My one year old had tons of space to play safely and my 10 year old had his own space to be comfortable! Loved this stay! It was nice and cozy!

Absolutely charming place to stay for our weekend visit to Winchester! Host was friendly, location was convenient to old town and to highway. Unit was super cute and wonderfully decorated. Had everything we needed and was a good place to stay with our pup. Would definitely recommend!

My family and I had a great time staying in the home. The images did not do it justice. We were shocked by the beauty of the views and scenery from their home. The property was large and our kids had a blast running around and playing in the treehouse. Highly recommend the place if you like nature and scenery. The train did pass a few times but our kids (ages 2-7) were fine with white noise at night. It didn’t disrupt our time at all. We also really enjoyed the game room. My wife loved using the kitchen and we were thankful they kept some spices on hand. The home is very kid friendly and one of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed at. We grilled, watched the stars from the jacuzzi, picnicked and explored the grounds. We even got to use the laundry room with a quick help from the host. Highly recommend!!

This was a great location for a getaway! We stayed for a few rainy days but the enclosed porch was perfect for feeling immersed in nature while staying dry! Amenities were exactly as described and it was very comfortable! Loved it

The place was really well set up. the drive up is a bit confusing the first time for sure. The house has everything a couple could need. Little bit of privacy, a nice space and a close proximity to a couple of small towns. The house was clean and had plenty of blankets, towels etc. Only negative (and it's a nitpick cause there was a lot of rain the weeks leading up to our stay) but the back deck furniture was covered in mildew and dead leaves. Would definitely recommend staying here.

I’m pretty sad that I don’t own this house. Pictures don’t it justice, and the pics are incredible. The house, the cows, the coziness….I’ve already shared this house to a few friends! Kayla was very responsive throughout our stay. 5 stars all around!

We were so very pleased with this home. A five star is hard to hand out but this home got it! This is a pet friendly home which you would not even know the house was so clean had no smells of pets. The pictures were accurate the views were amazing. We loved the area the town was quaint the local restaurant were very good. The hot tub was crystal clean. Rules were clearly and cutely posted made our stay very simple. 5stars for sure

The home in Eklton was just what my husband and I needed. The drive up to the home was interesting, but James let us know about the gravel road. The home was just the right size for two people. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner. I loved sitting on the deck in the evening after a full day of hiking. It was so quiet and peaceful! We could have stayed longer!

We had an amazing weekend here. The cabin is perfect for a relaxing getaway and is equipped with everything you may need. Having a grill and outdoor fire pit available was a bonus!

Have stayed here multiple times now but this visit was specifically for my daughter and son in law to enjoy a babymoon getaway. The river is easily accessible so they floated in tubes one day and took their canoe out another. They were able to take their dog as it is dog friendly. They grilled out and enjoyed the beautiful decks around the home. Resturant suggestions were layed out with local menus as well as local attractions. Luray Caverns is close by, Cooters, from Dukes of Hazards store serves a great lunch, and the drive and scenery all around is incredible. Sharon is the best host and always available by text or phone for questions. Check in and out were simple.

It was great to have a quiet place with enough beds for our group. We had fun playing cards in the living room at night, and the view of the stars outside was great, too!

Communication was great, the location was nice and the description of the facility was spot on. It was roomy and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Molly was a great host. The Airbnb looks exactly like the photos. The place was clean and had everything we needed. It was quiet and we couldn’t hear any neighbors. Molly gave very detailed instructions which made checking in super simple. The beds were a little bit hard but other than that, this was a perfect place to stay.

We had a lovely stay at Lili's place. It was very peaceful! We would definitely book again if we were in the area. Lili was very responsive to any questions we had.

Alison's place is great if you value being walkable to Old Town. We prefer this over staying at the Wyndham Grand because of the separate room for our baby to sleep in. The kitchen is modern and fridge with a water filter is clutch. We didn't try to make any meals. Bed was clean/firm, HVAC was responsive, and lounge chair in the sitting area was comfortable. You can hear the train and street noise (especially cars w/o mufflers) at night, but I assume that's the case if you stay anywhere near Old Town.

This was exactly what my husband and I needed to get out of the busy shuffle of the cities. Peaceful. Great breweries nearby! The house was very clean, but still had that cabin feel. Porch was a great place to sit and drink coffee or hang out with beautiful views.

The rental and grounds met our expectations and needs very well. Lots to do in the surrounding area. The pool and hot tub were just right. Comfy beds and cozy common area.
