Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lubec

The property was serene and relaxing. It was a much needed space to spend time with nature. The house was adorable. Linens were clean, blankets were cozy, temp works in the house. We plan to book again whenever we are back in the area.

Beautiful and relaxing location staying in a contemporary home which blends seamlessly with the setting. The rocky beach is down a staircase and we loved strolling and soaking in the sea air. The kitchen is very well equipped and we appreciated all the extras such as olive oil and spices. Kate is a very accommodating host and our short stay was really superb.

We loved our stay in this neat old house! Lots of nooks and crannies to explore. Beautiful and nicely decorated. Wish I had planned to cook, the huge kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, cookware, seasonings, condiments. The sunroom is gorgeous! We enjoyed a few meals at the table, and mom and I watched Netflix in the evenings. The drive is difficult to enter from the east, but piece of cake from the west. The property is very pretty, and though only somewhat large, feels almost secluded because of its position on a hill. Location is good for day trips into Canada. The only negative was the upstairs shower was terribly small. We took turns in the downstairs shower. Also, a few extra towels would be nice. But, we were joyfully surprised to find the "secret" washer and dryer! (The listing says there is no washer or dryer.) The instructions were helpful, and we had no issues. We added our family rock to the rock garden, and we would definitely stay here again!

What can I say about Salt Air, other than SPECTACULAR! This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. The house is pristine and spotless and the location is beyond beautiful. Mark is an amazing host, he goes above and beyond in communication and in providing such a lovely home to stay in. We were looking for peace and tranquility and we found it in spades here. I could go on for days about how perfect this place is, but instead of listening to me, you should just book your trip to come here! You certainly won’t regret a single moment! Thank you Mark!

This is an amazing find! We have been to 37 states and have stayed in countless air bnbs, and this is quite possibly our favorite. The location is gorgeous! The house is packed with amenities, which we super appreciated as a family of 5. The view every morning and evening was stunning. We were able to kayak from the house, have campfires, see the stars at night, enjoy the view and TV while hot tubbing, sip tea from the balcony, hike the nearby preserve, watch the wildlife and experience the amazing tides. We would 100% stay here again and hope to after we catch the other 13 states. If you're on the fence, just book it!!

Stunning views and sunsets across the Bay of Fundy. Wonderful accommodations and exceptional owners who are now friends. So much to enjoy on this quiet, historic island.

My Wife and I stayed for 3 nights, what a beautiful scene to wake up to each morning. The Machias River attracts so much wildlife ( Bald Eagles, Osprey, seals, deer and lots of geese that made the Inn a landing strip) and we got to see that every day. Area restaurants are very good as well. We look forward to going back again next year.

This apartment has a fabulous view and a wonderful place to see the sunrise. It is right in the middle of town and you can walk to anything you want from this location. It is immaculately clean and the layout is lovely and open. I would definitely stay here over all other venues in Eastport.

The location was perfect! The fenced in yard was great for our 6 & 8 year old to play without us worrying about where they were. The beach is beautiful, the boys learned how to skip stones. The apartment was spacious and well furnished, and was spotless! We definitely enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

This place was absolutely amazing. It was cozy and felt just like home. The hosts accomadeted us and provided us everything we needed for our stay on Grand Manan. I would recommend this place to anyone!

The location is in a beautiful area. We'd purposely shortened our stay due to being early for whale watching in Eastport. As a result, we set out to explore other parts of Maine. We, however, recommend staying at Joanne's as it's lovely, cosy, and affordable – it has a private deck and gorgeous views along with most of what you need at an Airbnb to make your stay a relaxing one.

Laura's apartment overlooking the pier and water was truly exceptional. The apartment is spacious and large with incredible views in a prime location. Laura was a terrific and flexible host and we appreciated how easy she made the check-in and check-out process. Would absolutely stay in this apartment again.

We had a Global Entry meeting in Calais and this place was perfect for the stay. We were able to work remotely and check out a bit late. Much better than the local hotel options.

We had a great stay in Lubec, we were in the area visiting UMaine at Machias where our daughter will attend college in the fall. Although this area is very remote, we enjoyed looking for sea glass on the shores at low tide, found a nice restaurant and found the stay to be very peaceful and inviting after 5 hr drive and a day of walking the campus. We are excited to return to the area once the weather is warmer and we would for sure stay here again. Highly recommend for a peaceful stay to get away from the norm!

Great home in a great location. Very spacious and clean and Corey was very responsive. We had 0 problems with there being a restaurant down stairs. Beautiful views of the bay and a near by field where we watched little kittens playing with each other! It was adorable. We slept great and felt right at home!

Christine's place was perfect. Everything was clean. it was easy to get into. The beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

This condo was easy to find, very clean and easy to get in to. While it was foggy the first few days, the sun did come out and the views were glorious from the deck! We saw eagles soaring. Felicia was very responsive to our questions/requests. The kitchen was well equipped, heat worked wonderfully and the beds comfortable. We will recommend this unit to friends and family.

We would have given 6 stars if we could. Our hosts were two of the nicest people. The breakfast treats were the best and Ross was a fascinating man to talk to. It is not often that we feel instantly at home when we travel, but Alice Anne and Ross create such a welcoming environment. Our one regret was that we could not stay longer. Hopefully we will find our way back sometime soon.
