Monthly Rentals in Lower Garden District, New Orleans

This was one of the comfortable airbnbs we have stayed in. Spacious apartment and the shower was large and beautiful with fantastic water pressure and temperature. Memory foam mattress and lovely pillows (not flat, not feather, not super thick!!!). Appreciated having a water boiler to make tea easily. The TV was a bit outdated and small, but did the job. Great communication with Jim. We loved waking up to the sound of singing, happy birds outside! ***this review above is for before our last night there, which we couldn't stay because a fire burnt the house severely and ruined almost all of our belongings with water and smoke...clothes, shoes, electronics, makeup, etc. But this is not the fault of the owner and I feel terrible for him, and for us, and wanted to write a review on how great the stay was before this tragedy.

Nice, cozy studio. Day bed is probably 6' max - I'm not sure it would be as comfy for anyone 5'8 or taller? Nothing up the stairs except private storage. Shower's a bit interesting - 3 different settings but no good way to run the water in advance to get to temp without getting water everywhere. No hair dryer in the bathroom, fyi. Space heater was great during the cold snap. Need to press checkmark after the door code is entered on the electronic lock, but pretty self explanatory. About 10 minute walk from Walmart. Relatively quiet neighborhood. Was able to keep my luggage there as I wrapped up a walking tour, which I appreciated!

Ro's house was sublime, thoughtfully and artistically designed yet practical and comfortable. The neighborhood was tranquil and extremely easy to get around from. We also never had issues finding street parking. It was perfect for a family of four. And extra bonus, the kids loved all the neighborhood cats. We'd easily stay here again!
