Newly renovated cottage in an older style with a modern touch. Completely secluded location with no traffic. Surrounded by farmyard, meadows and forest. Rural but close to the city center. In the nearby area, there are hiking trails, nature reserves, lakes, canoe rentals and fishing. The cottage offers a sofa bed on the lower floor, double bed on the upper floor. Fully-equipped kitchen. Toilet with shower and washing machine. Not suitable for children 2-12 years old due to steep stairs to the upper floor. Works for small children if only using the downstairs.

The cottage is located on a large natural plot by Lake Möckeln. Fishing in the lake is excellent, fishing license required. Two public swimming areas are 300 meters and 2 kilometers from the cottage or by boat across the lake. High season June, July, August rented whole weeks with changing Saturdays. Our wooden house is located on a beautiful, raw natural plot of land all the way out to Lake Mata. The large window section creates panoramic views of the lake, and breaks down the boundaries between indoor and outdoor life. The house accommodates 12 people and has six unique bedrooms, two bathrooms in beautiful raw materials, a kitchen, and a cozy integrated living room. The house's most unique feature is the large terrace. Free use of In addition, there is a lovely fire hut with tables and benches as well as a large grill, which can be used as needed.

Lake view and walking distance to Såganäs Friluftsbas with swimming jetty and canoe rental. 5 km to Diö where the nearest pizzeria and train station are located. Add 2 km and you will find Bykrogen in Liatorp. 7 km south there is Älmhult with shops and restaurants and of course IKEA and IKEA Museum. Fishing is available both in Såganäs lake as well as Möckeln and Virestadsjön.

Welcome to this cosy country idyll where one is embraced by horse pastures. The peace. The silence. The beauty of the surrounding forests. Here you get close to both animals and fantastic nature. On the yard there are horses, cats, chickens and a small sociable dog. Beyond the natural pastures are the wild animals. However, no bears or wolves :-) The luxury is in the environment. The forrestplot of 2400m2 contains lots of blueberries, lingonberries and mushrooms for you to pick if you come in late summer or fall. There are 3 holiday houses nearby but you cant really see the neighbours if you don´t want to ;) The nearest lake for swimming is 5 min with car (Badplats Vägla) and another 20 min for a bigger lake sand beach (Vesljungasjöns badplats) We welcome everyone, also dogs offcourse

Hot tub on the terrace, sauna and a lovely outdoor grill and pizzaowen for a cozy hangout. The rent includes 1 canoe for 3 per person, and bicycles to borrow.
