Charming private room in a farmhouse

Our farmhouse is situated at the famous black forest western hiking trail and on a hill with views overlooking three countries. Our guest room offers a small kitchen unit with a fridge where our guests can prepare breakfast and cold meals. There is no water supply in the bedroom but in the spacious bathroom opposite. You can find restaurants from vegan, traditional to haute cusine within a less than a mile. There are buses to Basel, Lörrach and Kandern. By car it takes 20 minutes to Basel.

Quiet guesthouse in romantic surroundings!

Recently built guesthouse on the property of an old mill. We (two families) live in the main building. Both apartments have a seperate entrance and a terrace showing to the little creek which gives it a romantic touch. The place is 10 km from Basel which can be reached by bus or train in about 30 minutes. In the village nearby you´ll find a supermarket and other stores. Good starting point to explore the Black Forrest. The mixture of nature and civilisation makes it a special place!

Close to nature & stylish living in the old farmhouse

The apartment is in the small district of Karsau, which belongs to Rheinfelden (Baden). In an almost 200-year-old farmhouse overlooking our farm animals (horses/sheep/cat/dog/chickens) you can relax wonderfully. Basel can be reached in 20 minutes by car/train. Beuggen train station is within walking distance (1.5 km). Right next door is a children's playground and the forest with beautiful walking and cycling trails is a few minutes' walk away. Welcome to our modern new apartment! This 1-room apartment can accommodate up to 3 guests. Thanks to its ideal location, the borders to Switzerland and France are only 10 kilometers away and therefore perfect for a break on a journey. Despite the proximity to the highway exit, the property is quiet and the train station of the village is within walking distance, so that travelers without a car are mobile. The apartment, renovated in 2023, was formerly an old bakery and is located on a 16th century farmstead. century in the core village of Efringen-Kirchen. After decades of neglect, it has been given a new shine piece by piece in recent years with loving attention to detail.
