The cottage is idyllically located on the east side of Åraksfjorden with sun from early morning to late night. Good opportunities for swimming, fishing and mountain trips. Åraksbø is a good starting point for day trips both west over Brokke -Suleskaveien to the pulpit and Kjerag, and north towards Hovden and Haukelidfjell.
